The shop consists of five employees: Blake Fingerhut, CEO; Oliver Shroat, CFO; Jaxon Fisher, Team Physician; Ripley Szanati, Sales Manager; Jack Kaiser, Ticket Sales Director. Dr. Jaxon says they sell Stinger magnets, pencil bags, and hockey player cards. THE COLUMBUS FOUNDATION Help the community by helping us! Dear Editor, I think blue and green are the best colors and the most important. They symbolize so much. Blue symbolizes the sky, the ocean, a very pretty eye color, and some exotic creatures. Green symbolizes grass, trees, and other plants. This is why I think blue and green are the best and most important colors. Sincerely, Anonymous ********** Dear Anonymous, 11215 You are right about how blue and green symbolize a bunch, and trees, grass, and other plants are very important for the Earth. Because if we didn’t have those, then we would have a bunch of pollution everywhere and no oxygen would form and the world would’ve ended a long time ago. And I also agree with you that blue is a very pretty eye color, don’t you just love blue eye color! They are so pretty! And so I guess you are right a bit on how green and blue are pretty important, because just think, in the night the sky is really close to black, so I think black is a pretty important color as well, also being my favorite color. And if we didn’t have blue, then we couldn’t have a blue looking sea or a colored sky. Because the ocean is like a coloring page. (The sky sure likes to color.) But, also yellow and white are also important because, yellow is the color of the sun we see almost everyday, and white is important because white is close to the color of the moon. AND if we didn’t have the moon, then the night would be technically pitch black, and then all the people who can’t see good in the night would be pretty sad because they couldn’t see. But you can think WHATEVER you want. Next time, write what your name is. I’m logical. Sincerely, Brown Team Editor, Kaitlyn Conti DONATOS Every drink counts! Volunteer Spotlight We are so thankful for our wonderful JA BizTown volunteers. Let’s hear what they have to say! THE GREATER COLUMBUS ARTS COUNCIL Dear Editor, I think that at one time or another somewhere in the world unicorns existed. Well, I heard in a song when I was little that when Noah gathered up 2 animals of each species. Except when the ark left unicorns didn't get on. That is why I think that somewhere somehow in the past unicorns existed. Thanks for listening, Tess Kiener ********** Dear Jess Kiener, I like your thought of that in Noah’s time maybe somewhere in the world unicorns might of existed. Like, in the Bible, in somewhere probably in the old testament, I know that it says something about on Noah’s Arc, he did in fact gather up 2 animals of every kind. But, did you ever think that maybe he did get the unicorns on the arc, just some point in time the unicorns died off because somebody wanted their unicorn mane. But I like your idea, it was very, um, interesting. My brother and sister thought so too. Be happy that you got your letter to be chosen out of like, 70 people. (That’s a lot if you didn’t know. ;P) But we have no idea unless we create a time machine and go back in time and find those unicorns! I number bet 80% out of 100% unicorns aren’t real. But you can believe whatever you want. So go on and chase your dreams! You are on my top 5 creative thinking list. The one person is a sadly not real person, called Lord Sesshomaru. Well, have fun living for the rest of your life! Sincerely, Kaitlyn Conti I got really great quotes from our JA BizTown volunteers. But I had to come to the decision of which two quotes I could write here. These are the two quotes that I chose. “It is an interesting concept for kids to learn about this,” said Whitney Ebersole. “It is a good way to get back,” said Michelle Strohll. I thought the quotes were very interesting. Thank you all for your time, volunteers! The greatest painting in town! HUNTINGTON BANK The best bank! Is it Better to Give or Receive? For my first article I was asked to write about the question: Is it better to give than to receive? My opinion on this is that it is better to give because it makes others feel well and is a nice thing to do. I was actually very surprised at some of the answers. Aiden Burke says:” It is better to give because it helps others, rather than to receive because it doesn’t help others.” This also goes along with Lexi Chang’s response, which is, “It is better to give than to receive because some people might not be as lucky as you so it will make you feel good.” These responses are so heartfelt and honest. The last response is from Kylie Mills. She says, ”It’s better to give because it’s fun!” In summary, citizens say it’s better to give! Thank You to our wonderful shop sponsors: Columbus Blue Jackets,CD102.5, The Columbus Foundation, Donatos Café, Greater Columbus Arts Council, Huntington Bank, IGS Energy, Midland Facility Services, ODW Logistics, Raising Cane’s, State Farm, SWACO and Thirty-One Gifts!
