Pilates Classes

Pilates was named after Joe Pilates, a self-defense instructor for
Scotland Yard, whose exercise methods strengthened bedridden
patients during England’s 1918 influenza epidemic. Decades later,
students and gym enthusiasts limber up daily, sometimes not even
realising the full benefits of their movements until much later.
Pilates helps you develop core muscles and stability. You’ll find it an
excellent exercise for improving posture and overall inner strength.

Our two centres in Greece are situated in lovely locations bordered by the crystal blue waters of

Our new location of Syvota is on the mainland, just opposite the islands of Corfu and Paxos. Our
Vassiliki centre is found at the southern end of the island of Lefkas, the green emerald of the
Mediterranean. Both locations are about a 90 minute transfer from Preveza airport.

The name Lefkas comes from the Greek word for white, referring
to the white cliffs at the southernmost tip of the island. According
to ancient mythology, it was here where Sappho jumped into the

willing to share with another client (same sex), the basic price applies
on our TWIN SHARE basis. Rooms for both twin share & sole

Dear Friends,
Ten years ago, Healthy Options started as the Yoga & Pilates holiday
that offers a true holiday experience. Now, one decade later, we are
proud that many of our guests find us the ideal holiday, offering
much more than just a suntan. From the UK and the rest of Europe,
they return to Vassiliki year after year to attend our classes and
simply to have fun and relax to the max. Being a small, independent
company allows us to have a close relation with all of them. It is this
personal touch, our friendly and approachable staff and of course
the blue open skies and the calm waters of our lovely bay that
makes this a unique holiday experience. Perfect holiday… Check!
Many of our instructors, all professionals in their respective Yoga
and fitness disciplines, have found a loyal following of their own.
From basic Yoga classes and innovative fitness programmes to
specialized techniques for more advanced practitioners, every day
there are plenty of options for you to choose from. Our shared
facilities with Wildwind sailing in Vassiliki give you access to a host of
other adventures such as bike rides, sailing and Stand Up Paddle
Boarding taster sessions, guided herbal walks and much more.
Starting this year at our new centre in Syvota you can also enjoy
walks and cycle rides, Stand up Paddleboarding and even river
rafting! That is, If you choose to… the secret to our success still is
that you can do as much or as little as you like! This year we have
upgraded many of our rooms and facilities in Vassiliki and we will
also see some new instructors enter the scene. For those who like
their holiday just a tad calmer and slightly more luxurious, we have
opened a second Yoga centre in Syvota, another lovely coastal town
reachable from Preveza airport, with a unique flavour of natural
beauty. The comfortable stay at the Mega Ammos hotel is
something many of our guests are already looking forward to –
some will even split a two week holiday over both our centres. If that
sounds attractive to you, be sure to give me a call.
All our guest have one thing in common: a desire to live a healthy life
by staying in tune with their bodies. Yoga, Pilates, fitness and an
