Friday Art Show
On the last day of each camp (Friday) we will have
a mini art show. We display all the work the students
have done for the week and celebrate new friends.
The mini art show will begin during the last 15
minutes of class on Fridays.
Parents, grandparents and friends are welcome to
attend.
Don’t forget …
Please remember to bring your morning and
afternoon snacks, and a proper lunch. We are a
Peanut Free School.
You can mail in your registration form and a cheque
or drop it off at the Monart Art School.

About Monart
The Monart system of drawing shows how to perceive
our visual world in terms of 5 basic elements of shape.
Our students learn the skills necessary to translate
perceptions on to paper. This method has achieved
phenomenal results with both children and adults,
including those with learning difficulties.
Since 1979, Monart has been taught using Mona
Brookes’ best selling book “Drawing With Children”
through Monart Schools and incorporation into school
districts. By using this approach everyone can learn to
draw and feel proud of his or her results. All our classes
create a nurturing environment in which self-expression
and creativity flourish. Each lesson plan is designed with
enough structure to ensure success as well as freedom to
be creative

Complete the registration form. Camps are limited to 12
campers and fill up quickly. Space will be reserved
according to date of registration, provided that tuition is
received in full.
Summer Camp tuition is payable upon registration. We
cannot hold space without payment.
Tuition is refundable with written notification by these
dates: June 1st 2016= 100%, and June 15th 2016= 50%. No
refunds issued after June 29th 2016.
We reserve the right to refuse enrollment as necessary.
Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Students who
cannot comply will not be allowed to continue, and any
remaining tuition will be non-refundable.

Join us in this magical and sensational tour of the best and
most recent animated features! We will draw our favourite
characters from Inside Out, make a BB-8 droid for Star Wars,
play with Minions, and explore the ocean with Dory & Nemo!
Frozen ❄ July 11-15
Need a break from the heat? Cool off with a week of icythemed fun with your favourite characters from Frozen! We will
learn how to draw Anna and Elsa, make Sven’s reindeer
antlers and make some cool crafts with Olaf!
Time Travel Machine! July 18-22
Pack your bags! With a little imagination we will create
spectacular crafts and colourful drawings while exploring
wonderful worlds through a time machine! Some of the places
we will visit include ancient Egypt, the futuristic land of robots,
Dinotopia, outer space and more!

Rainbow Art! July 25-29
Is your favourite colour…EVERY color? Then this camp is for
you! Through crafts and drawings, we will learn about
rainbows, create colour wheels and much more! We will use
our rainbow brush on all of our creations for a spectacular
effect!
8-12 yrs
Star Wars! July 4-8
Droids, Darth and deep space! Hop aboard your x-wing and
join us for a fun-filled week of Star Wars-inspired creativity.
Using the (creative) Force we’ll bring intergalactic ships and
favorite characters to life like R2-D2, BB8 and Yoda. Through
crafts and drawings we will construct a lightsaber, illustrate
C3-P0 and more!

Hop on our superjet and take a trip around the world in five
days. This is the perfect art camp for the young tourist, for
whom imagination is the only passport required. Through crafts
and drawings, our creative travels will take us to amazing

Calling all artists! During this camp, we will meet and be
inspired by famous artists like Picasso and Van Gogh. All young
