NOTE: Each obedience and rally trial is a separate event for each day. Rally
does not count as a second entry in Obedience and Obedience does not count as
a second entry in Rally. There are separate AKC entry forms for Obedience &
Rally! Be sure to include the Agreement page with the entry form; otherwise,
your entry will not be valid!!!

ENTRIES CLOSE 6:00 PM (EASTERN TIME), WEDNESDAY, JULY 20, 2016
at the home of the trial secretary, Denise A. Gordon, 2614 Gracewood Ave.,
Cincinnati, OH 45239, or when the numerical judging limit has been reached, after
which time entries will not be accepted, cancelled, altered or substituted, except as
provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules. No telephone changes
accepted. Transfers will be allowed if requested in writing and presented to the trial
secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Transfers will be
approved, provided that the judge is available and the next class level has not
reached its limit. Overnight or certified mail must be sent with the “No Signature
Required”.
No entry can be accepted without fees, signatures or the “Agreement” on the reverse
side of the Official AKC Entry Form. Unsigned checks and returned checks do not
constitute payment of fees. No entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition
as to its acceptance. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received prior to the close of entries. MVTC will not be responsible for errors made on
entries. Please double check entry prior to sending. Owners are responsible for
errors. No entry fee will be refunded in the event of such errors or cancellation of
entries after the published closing date.

“Dog” means either sex. A qualifying score is required for all awards in regular, preferred, and optional titling classes.
A dark green ribbon will be presented to each dog receiving a qualifying score in each regular, preferred, and optional
obedience and regular rally class. If a dog is entered in more than one class, only the dog's highest score shall be used
in determining eligibility for awards. A qualifying score is not required for a placement in a non-regular class.

NOTE: All obedience and rally entr ies will be ar r anged in jump height or der in all
classes in which jumps are used. Jump heights will begin at lowest and ascend to highest
height entered in each class. Handlers with multiple entries in the same class and with the
same jump height will be accommodated.
ATTENTION EXHIBITORS!
The clubs of the MVTC assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury
sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes
no responsibility for injury to children.
Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the clubs nor its Trial Secretary will be
responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors of class judging.
Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are
responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. Judging procedure may
be modified to accommodate disabled handlers.
MVTC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All awards must
be claimed the day of the show; none will be mailed. Unclaimed awards become the
property of MVTC.
Snacks, beverages, breakfast, and lunches will be available at the show site for suggested
donations.
No smoking is allowed in the building. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on show
grounds or in parking areas.

All dogs must be kept on leash or crated at all times, except as allowed in the show ring.
Please exercise your dog in the designated areas and clean up after your dog! At
your own risk, crates may be left inside the show facility overnight in designated areas.
Crates must not block entrance or exit of doorways.
The Dayton Dog Training Club has recently expanded their air-conditioned building. We
have lots of crating space available. All rings are matted with high-quality rolled rubber
matting. Crating space and warmup areas are also matted. Please place protective floor
covering under crates.
Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as practicable after entries close. An
armband ID number for each dog and Judging Program will be e- mailed (or mailed) to
all exhibitors.
No entry fee will be returned if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots,
civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God,
public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes, or any other cause beyond the control the
MVTC committee. No entry fee will be refunded in the event a dog is absent,
disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by the action of the Trial Committee.
Refunds minus any applicable AKC event recording/service fees will be given for bitches
in season and injured dogs if a written request (either emailed, sent via postal service, or
presented in person) is received by the trial secretary no later than a half hour prior to the
start of the trial.

DIRECTIONS TO SHOW
From I-75 (either North or South), take the Dryden Road/Springboro Exit (#50). At the end
of the exit ramp, turn West onto Dryden Road (right turn if you came from the north; left if
you came from the south) and go to the traffic light at Arbor Boulevard. Turn left onto Arbor
Boulevard and go until it ends at River Road. Turn left onto River Rd and go approximately
seven - tenths (.7) of a mile (you will pass by the Mandalay Banquet Center on your left).
The Orbit Industrial Park building is the last building on the left just before the pond. Look
for the Dayton Dog Training Club sign, then turn left into parking lot. There are entrances in
the front and rear of the building (no entry through side doors).
CATALOGS
Only a limited number of catalogs will be printed; catalog will contain entries from all trials.
To be sure you will receive a copy, prepay for your catalog by including $5.00 with your entry
fee. A few catalogs will be available at the show at a cost of $6.00 each; none will be mailed.
