LEDeG Craftshop In the past thirty years, Ladakh has been confronted with increasing modernization. In the wake of these changes, local materials and traditional handicrafts have been set aside in favour of new technologies. At the LEDeG Craftshop, we aim to revive these age-old methods by supporting women's self-help groups throughout Ladakh. The products featured in this catalogue have all been handmade by village women using traditional techniques and local materials. The proceeds from the shop go directly to improving the livelihoods of these women, encouraging economic empowerment and sustainable development.
