ALL participants of The First Tee should plan to attend and compete in our FREE
Humana Nine Healthy Habits Challenge™ event at Yahara Hills Golf Course to be
held on Wednesday, July 22 – see page 2 for information.
Recommended for Ages 6 & Up
TARGET - Introduction to Junior Golf – $90
Six lessons, 1 hr. each. Designed to spark your child’s curiosity in the game of golf and allow them
to meet new people and have fun! The basic physical fundamentals of the game and an introduction
to the Nine Core Values are the focus of each lesson. Class space is limited to 12 students per
time slot.

Player Development Program – $200
($134.75 if purchasing Madison Parks Junior Golf Pass, see application form for details)
For those dedicated to improving their golf skills, we offer this three week, 9 session early summer
program. Participants will build on the basic skills learned in previous introductory programs to
advance through the levels of The First Tee and successfully compete in local junior tournaments
and competitive high school golf. The Player Development Program features smaller group sizes
and more in-depth lesson sessions. Upon completion of the program, participants will be sent via
email a video of their swing with recommendations for continued improvement and practice.
Participants in this program must be Par, Birdie or Eagle level in The First Tee or have had previous
introductory level instruction and are able to walk nine holes without supervision and understand the
basic rules of golf.
Lessons are 45 minutes followed by two hours of golf with on course instruction provided by the
staff and mentors when available. Healthy snacks and beverages will be provided. Class space is
limited to 12 Players.

Understanding the limited amount of course access for the program’s participants and the need to ensure a high quality
participant to Coaching Staff ratio, I must arrange in advance make up sessions or arrange to receive rain checks for my

The First Tee recognizes outstanding academic achievement of all participants through its A/B Honor Roll program. A Certificate of Achievement is generated and signed by The First Tee Chief Executive Officer, Joe Louis Barrow, Jr. Twice annually, chapters report to the home office their participants who have earned all As and/or Bs (or the equivalent) on their report cards. All participants, regardless of age, are eligible for this recognition. If you child qualifies for this achievement
