Dear Parents, Caregivers and friends of Clearview Primary ! From the Principal’s Desk.... ! This is the 100th edi@on of the Clearview Primary NewsleBer and so happens to be the first for the year! We’ve had a very posi@ve start and the children have seBled into the rou@ne of school life incredibly well aIer the summer break. ! Nāku noa, nā James Petronelli Principal ! It has been a very valuable exercise to have the children involved in seNng up their homebase and power team by choosing the furniture from the hall. For those of you who saw it all stacked up there was certainly a substan@al amount and it did appear like a daun@ng task, however in true Clearview spirit everyone got the job done and achieved the desired outcome. ! Over the break we also had a number of areas in the school repainted, walls covered with Autex (wall covering) and all areas carpet cleaned. It is also great to have our library reinstated for children to enjoy during homebase visits and over lunch@mes. This work has certainly revitalised our physical environment and brings back the feeling of the newness we experienced six years ago! ! In the coming weeks we have our open evening where the teams will be officially launching their new team names. The teachers and children have been involved in selec@ng names that reflect our school’s modern learning philosophy. The launch will take place in the hall and aIerwards there will be an opportunity to visit your child’s homebase and talk to their collabora@ve team of teachers. More informa@on will follow shortly and in the mean@me please keep the evening of Wednesday 11 March free. ! ! ! !
