Best known for portraying Captain James T. Kirk on the popular sci-fi

Awards for his performance on the long-running series Boston Legal.

MATT SMITH
Matt Smith is best known for his role as the Eleventh Doctor in the
British television series Doctor Who, for which he received a BAFTA
Award nomination in 2011. He has recently announced he will
have a major role in the upcoming Terminator film due to be
released in the summer of 2015.

KAREN GILLAN
Karen Gillan is a Scottish actress and former model, known for
her role as Amy Pond in the British science fiction series Doctor
Who. Gillan is slated to play the lead role in the upcoming U.S.
comedy series Selfie, which is loosely based on My Fair Lady. She
also plays the role of Nebula in the upcoming 2014 film, Marvel’s
Guardians of the Galaxy.

ARTHUR DARVILL
Arthur Darvill began playing Rory Williams, companion to the
Eleventh Doctor, in the fifth series of the BBC’s science fiction

Experts Mark Townsend and Rob Green
discuss the basics of building your very own
Dalek! Learn where to source the blueprints
and materials locally, as well as some of
the basic construction options. The panel
will also cover basic operation of the Daleks
and some of the many adventures of the
presenters, many of them humorous.
ELIJAH WOOD
Elijah Wood is best known for his leading role as Frodo Baggins in
Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Since then, he has had
roles in films such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sin City,
Green Street, Everything Is Illuminated and Bobby, to name a few.
NATHAN FILLION
Best known for his current starring role on the hit series Castle,
Nathan Fillion first gained millions of fans for his portrayal of Captain
Malcolm ‘Mal’ Reynolds on Joss Whedon’s acclaimed series, Firefly.
He also had memorable roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Serenity
& Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.
STEPHEN AMELL
Currently stars as the vigilante Oliver Queen/Green Arrow on the
CW & CTV network television series Arrow. In 2007, Amell won
a Gemini Award for his guest-starring role on ReGenesis. Amell
was also a member of The Vampire Diaries as werewolf Brady for
season 2

The Doctor Who Society of Canada is a
social network for Whovians of all ages
from coast to coast. A fledgling non-profit
organization, that grew out of the 2011
Fan Expo Canada, which proved to have
such a huge concentration of enthusiastic
Whovians that it sparked the formation of
the group. With 2013 being the 50th
Anniversary of the television show Doctor
Who, DWSC is going all out to provide the
best WHO Experience ever at Fan Expo
this year!
RAY PARK
Best known for his iconic role of Darth Maul in the blockbuster
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Park has appeared in
dozens of television series and feature films over his career
including X-Men, Sleepy Hollow and as Snake Eyes in the
G.I. Joe film series.

EDWARD JAMES OLMOS
Edward James Olmos appeared in films like Blade Runner, and on
the hit TV series Miami Vice. He received an Oscar nomination for
his role as a teacher in 1988’s Stand and Deliver. From 2003 to
2009, Olmos starred in the TV series Battlestar Galactica.

Star Wars Rebels, set five years before the events of Star Wars: Episode IV
A New Hope, tells the story of the Rebellion’s beginnings while the Empire
spreads tyranny through the galaxy. You will see it first at Fan Expo Canada

Richard Dreyfuss is an Academy Award winning actor best known
for starring in a number of film, television, and theater roles,
including the films American Graffiti, Jaws, Close Encounters of
the Third Kind, The Goodbye Girl and Mr. Holland’s Opus.
TORONTO STEAMPUNK SOCIETY
This group promotes local Canadian
steampunk events, as well as artists and
authors, all steampunk creations around
the GTA. Their goal is to continue building
the community of people who take an
interest in this science fiction genre and
the growing subculture surrounding it. Be

Frank originally auditioned for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
in the pilot as the Red Ranger. He later tried-out again in 1993
when he was 19. He was cast in the role of Tommy Oliver, the
Green Ranger. His character later became the White Ranger.
