Lower track mount • 2ea. 6mm / .75 x 10mm Socket head screws • 1ea. 3/16”/5mm allen wrench Attaching the LitePanel Mounting Hardware to LitePanel Frames: Note: You should have the assembled LitePanel frame lying on a flat surface Step 1 Disassemble the upper cover from the lower track mount using the allen wrench. Figure 1 Note: There are two mounting options for the LitePanel Mounting Hardware depending on your application: A. If you are using the hardware with the LiteReach Plus extension pole then you will only use one LitePanel hardware set. The orientation of the lower track plate will have the swivel track in a 90 degree position in relation to the frame tube. Figure 2 Figure 1. Figure 2. B. If you are using the LitePanel hardware with two light stands to mount the LitePanel overhead, two LitePanel hardware sets will be required. The orientation of the lower track plate will have the swivel track in a parallel position in relation to the frame tube. Figure 3 Note: For most applications it is recommended that you attach the hardware in the middle of the width of the frame for the best balance and stability. Figure 3. Figure 4. Step 2 Place the track plate under the frame tube, making sure the swivel track is in the desired position. Figure 4 Step 3 Place the Top Cover over the frame tube aligning the holes with the lower Track plate for the attachment screws. Figure 5 Step 4 Attach the top cover to the lower track plate by securely tightening both socket screws using the Allen wrench. Figure 6 Figure 5. Figure 6. In this configuration, a second fabric can be attached on the opposite side for a quick change of reflector surfaces or for double diffusion. Figure 7 Step 5 With either one or two upper and lower components attached to the frame. Slide the swivel stand mount onto the swivel track on the lower plate and tighten the set screw knob. Figures 8-9 Figure 7. Figure 8. Tip: When using the LitePanels extended like a boom as shown in figure 10, put the swivel handle on your left side when attaching it to the mounting track. In this way, gravity works with you allowing the weight of the LitePanel to further tighten the swivel rather than loosen it. With the Hardware securely attached, it is now ready to be placed on a Photoflex LiteStand or the LiteReach Plus hand held extension. Figures 10-12 Figure 9.
