Deegan didn’t stop his winning ways with one triumph on the day as he also wired the field in the Pro Lite Unlimited division. United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Rodney Sanders Redeems Himself with 81 Speedway Nail Biter Park City, KS (June 19, 2014) – Less than 24 hours after letting a win slip from his grasp in USMTS competition, Rodney Sanders found his way back to good again with a nail biting, $2,000 triumph at 81 Speedway. Sanders led the first 38 circuits from his front row starting spot but a late-race caution set up a duel to the checkers for the second straight night between him and Zack VanderBeek. While VanderBeek led lap 39, Rodney surged ahead by inches to lead the final circuit of the 40 lapper for his fourteenth win of 2014. Pirelli World Challenge Team Shea Racing Makes History in Cadillac Grand Prix Opener Elkhart Lake, WI (June 20, 2014) – Shea Racing and Eibach Springs made a strong statement in the opening round competition at the Cadillac Grand Prix at Road America with the Pirelli World Challenge. Shea Holbrook picked up her fourth class win of the season in just seven events by topping the action in the Touring Car A division. Meanwhile her teammate, Paul Holton claimed the first win of his career with a triumph in Touring Car B-Spec. The dual victories marked the first time in the team’s history that Shea Racing has enjoyed a double race win. UMP Summer nationals Super Late Models Shannon Babb Bags Second Win of 2014 with Farley $10k Farley, IA (June 17, 2014) – Moweaqua, Illinois veteran Shannon Babb scored his 84th career UMP Summernationals triumph with a victory at Farley Speedway. The $10,000-to-win event at the 3/8-mile oval found Babb surging forward from the sixth starting spot into the second position as the race approached its closing laps. With just nine laps remaining, Shannon raced past Billy Moyer who was slowed with a flat tire. The win marks Babb’s second of 2014 in his Petroff Towing #18 Rocket/Eibach Super Late Model. Heavy traffic late in the race allowed Gustin to overtake leader, Terry Phillips. Gustin would later endure his own traffic issues in the closing laps but would maintain the lead for the remaining circuits en route to the $3,000 victory in his Gressel Racing #19 Eibach Springs/Rocket Super Late Model. Gustin now holds six victories on the season. Continued eibach.com UMP Summernationals Super Late Models Billy Moyer Uses Experience for $10,000 Win at Tri City Pontoon Beach, IL (June 20, 2014) – Racing veteran and Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer, Billy Moyer, has enjoyed considerable success at Tri City Speedway throughout the course of his storied career. He was able to utilize this experience to use the low groove to power past race-long leader, Tim Manville, on lap 30 in his Eibach Springs #21 Moyer Extreme by Longhorn Super Late Model. Once out front the 56-year-old drove away from his foes to claim his seventh win of the season, which was worth $10,000. Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Don O’Neal Wins Second Straight LOLMDS Event Gaffney, SC (June 20, 2014) – Less than six days after claiming a $20,000 victory with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Don O’Neal found himself parked in victory lane once again after topping the $10,000-to-win event at Cherokee Speedway. The win didn’t come easy as O’Neal led the first two laps before jumping the cushion, which allowed Brandon Overton to slip by for the top spot. The Martinsville, Indiana driver stalked the leader until lap 36 when he jumped back to the lead. O’Neal went on to lead the final fourteen laps in his Clint Bowyer Racing #5 Barry Wright/Eibach Springs Super Late Model. With his fourth win of the season, O’Neal further extends his advantage atop the series standings. United Midwestern Promoters (UMP) Super Late Models Billy Moyer Jr. Wins Again at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway Calvert City, KY (June 21, 2014) – Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway has always been a special place for Billy Moyer Jr. because it was the scene of his very first Super Late Model event in 2006. In 2014 the facility has become even more special since he won the $10,000 Bluegrass Nationals back in April, and on Saturday night he returned to score the $3,000 victory. Seventeen Super Late Models entered the program, and Billy earned the sixth starting spot for the feature via preliminary action. By lap 12 he had advanced to the second spot behind race leader, Dane Dacus. Lap 13 found Dacus seeing his night end as he slammed into the turn one wall. Billy took the $3,000 win, which marks his fifth win of 2014 in his #21jr Moyer Xtreme by Longhorn/Eibach Springs entry. Pirelli World Challenge Mike Skeen Celebrates Two Victories at Elkhart Lake Elkhart Lake, WI (June 21, 2014) – The Hawk Performance Team enjoyed a great outing in the seventh race weekend of the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge. ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Grant Enfinger Dominates Elko Speedway Elko, MN (June 21, 2014) – Grant Enfinger said he “had a rocket ship from the drop of the green flag” at Elko Speedway in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards event. That rocket ship, otherwise known as the Eibach Springs #90 Triple K Construction/Casite/Ford, lapped all but three cars and cruised into victory lane in the Akona 250 presented by Federated Car Care. He led the first three laps from his outside-front-row starting spot but bad luck struck on lap 4 when he was spun by another competitor. Despite the spin, Enfinger overcame quickly and raced back to the lead for the win. With his sixth career victory for this tour, Enfinger reassumed control of the series standings. Nürburgring 24 Hours Team Audi Claims Second Long Distance Race of the Week Ingolstadt/ Nürburg, Germany (June 22, 2014) – Exactly one week from the date that Team Audi conquered the Le Mans 24 Hours, they celebrated another huge victory with a triumph in the Nürburgring 24 Hours. Phoenix Racing with the Eibach Springs #4 Audi R8 LMS ultra celebrated a hard-fought victory in its home round in the Eifel. Ernst Moser’s squad had previously taken the honors in the race through the ‘Green Hell’ with Audi’s GT3 sports car in 2012. With 159 laps, the R8 LMS ultra set a new distance record this year. For the first time ever, a Nürburgring winner covered more than 4,000 kilometers as Christian Mamerow, Christopher Haase, René Rast and Markus Winkelhock culminated to accomplish the storied feat.
