3 DAY JUICE DETOX The protocol for a 3 Day Juice Detox is to try to eliminate coffee, meats, milk, sugars and grains two days prior to help with the detoxing. You can decrease whatever you can, no stress but it all makes it easier to eliminate cravings and stress on your body. Then you follow the below….Easy Peasy! For two days following the juice, you will slowly ease into eating solids, especially meat products. Use up the end of the juices and drink lots of water. You will receive 7 litres of juice in 6 flavours, which is more than enough to drink 5-6 glasses of juice per day. You will pick 5 flavours and the 5th will be Ginger Lemonade or your choice of a Cider for digestion. You will drink this one in the morning, with cold water or hot water before drinking any juices Try to have at least 5 glasses (500 ml= 2 cups) of juice each day: Breakfast, Mid-Morning, Lunch, Afternoon Snack, Pre-Dinner, Dinner (2 if needed). 8AM - Ginger Lemonade (with hot water if you want) 9AM - Greens Juice (I or II) 12PM - Beet Juice 3PM - Greens Juice (I or II – opposite to morning Juice) 6PM - Carrot Juice + Another Juice of your choice if needed (or Cashew Milk) ** Drink water between each juice and herbal tea for snack ** Change hours to reflect your life, but basically 2-3 hrs between juices and water/teas between those drinks. The longer you go from evening until morning the better for allowing your liver to detox the toxins being released into your system. • Make sure you have cut raw vegetables or berries only to eat if you get really hungry (no dip but lemon/salt okay). • You will feel hungry, have a low grade headache and be tired while your body is getting used to the detoxing, on the first day. And you will have to “pee” a lot and don’t forget you are drinking beet juice so it will be colourful. • Your skin may breakout a few days later as the toxins are being released from your body. I recommend a massage, salt cave session or infrared sauna if you can. Try to have a hot bath with Himalayan salt rocks provided, at least once or end of each day. Do a dry brush before the baths (on your dry skin, rubbing from your feet, legs, body, arms, back & rub towards your heart). This is a good practice to do always to circulate the lymphatic system, move toxins and have amazing skin! • If you take a multivitamin, continue to do so daily. If you take probiotics, take double the amount during the week. If you take Calcium Magnesium, do so only at night before bed. I will provide you with Psyllium fiber powder to take 2 tbsp twice per day at breakfast & dinner in the juice or with water, which will also help release the toxins and make you eliminate more. • Drink lots of water or as much as you can between juices - at least 6-8 glasses to help release and flush the toxins. Drink the detox teas between the juices or at end of day. • When you are finished, ease your way into a full day of eating solids. Have a few juices with any leftover and try to not have meat for 2 more days following the juice detox. Then introduce meat with veggies but keep portions small. • Most cravings for sugar and other substances should disappear which is amazing, and you may crave things that are unusual. For the Juice Cleanse lease pick 5 flavours - one with beets, one with carrots, two greens, and one Superfruit juice or Milk: Carrot/Beet Juices: (these juices are specifically to help your liver detox) Carrot, Ginger, Lemon, Apple Carrot, Beet, Celery, Lemon Carrot, Kale, Apple Beet, Carrot, Tangerine, Lemon Beet, Spinach, Apple, Ginger Beet, Pear, Ginger, Pineapple Beet, Cucumber, Grapefruit, Basil Beet, Apple, Carrot, Orange Greens Juices: (aid in detox, high anti-oxidants, alkaline body, loads of phytonutrients) Kale, Spinach, Parsley, Cilantro, Lemon, Apple Celery, Cucumber, Parsley, Grapefruit, Mint Spinach, Celery, Apple, Lemon, Ginger Pineapple, Celery, Cucumber, Lemon Superfruit Juices: (high ORAC anti-oxidant values) Pomegranate, Blueberry, Mint Pomegranate, Blueberry, Lemon Pomegranate, Acai, Mint Milks: (for those that workout or are training and need the protein) Cashew Milk with vanilla, cinnamon, cane sugar (sugar can be deleted) Almond Milk with vanilla, cinnamon, cane sugar (sugar can be deleted) Digestive Juice: (decrease inflammation, aids in digestion, absorption of nutrients) Ginger Lemonade - taken in the mornings (cold or hot) If lemonade is not something you can take, than a Cider should be picked like Pumpkin Orange Cider or Cranberry Pear Cider. These are both yummy all year round & a great way to start your day…don’t stop at the detox. Now you can sit back and relax while the juices are delivered to you.
