It is impossible to separate the southernmost region of the Iberian Peninsula from the
desire to explore. After all, Ferdinand Magellan and Christopher Columbus both began their
most renowned voyages here. Passage of the Moors offers you the opportunity to begin a
journey as well.
Discover the cultural riches of Spain and Morocco in a level of luxury early seafarers never
could have imagined. Explore fascinating Seville, then cruise to Morocco aboard MV Aegean
Odyssey, an experience that includes two overnight hotel stays in the storied cities of
Marrakesh and Fez. Along the way, admire the varied architectural styles brought to the
region by several civilizations, sample sherry and local specialties, and bask in the beauty of
southern Spain and northern Africa.
This Voyages to Antiquity cruise is a journey for people who are ever curious and excited
to learn about classical civilizations. One essential feature of every Voyages to Antiquity
cruise is a series of lectures presented by esteemed historians and dynamic speakers. Plus,
throughout your cruise, enjoy the breathtaking scenery and the delicious food and wine of the

Comfortable and relaxing, MV Aegean Odyssey
is the ideal ship for touring antiquity. This is a
premium-class vessel, rebuilt for cruising the
coastal waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The
ship easily approaches islands, enters remote
inlets and explores ancient sites inaccessible to
larger vessels, opening up experiences to you
that others miss. This is boutique-style cruising.
The ship carries an average of 350 passengers
accommodated in comfortable and well-appointed
suites, junior suites and staterooms. Enjoy a
casual dress code, open-seated dining and many
diversions, including the outdoor pool, a full-service
spa and stimulating talks in the lecture theatre.
Two restaurants celebrate the Mediterranean’s
glorious culinary tradition with the best ingredients
in delicious and healthful dishes. Enjoy full waiter
service and easy sophistication in the Marco Polo,
the ship’s more formal dining room, where lunches
and dinners feature delectable entrées. At dinner,
complimentary house wines are carefully sourced
from noted wine regions around the world. The
Terrace Café offers cooking on the open grill and
indoor and alfresco seating for breakfast, lunch
and dinner. The bistro-style restaurant serves
appetizers, paella and authentic Italian pizzas. For
a special treat, take afternoon tea — an English
tradition made magical when enjoyed at sea. Aegean
Odyssey’s crowning touch is the fine service of the
crew, whose attention to detail and graciousness
will complete your unforgettable voyage to antiquity.

Comfortable and relaxing, MV Aegean Odyssey
is the ideal ship for touring antiquity. This is a
premium-class vessel, rebuilt for cruising the
coastal waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The
ship easily approaches islands, enters remote
inlets and explores ancient sites inaccessible to
larger vessels, opening up experiences to you
that others miss. This is boutique-style cruising.
The ship carries an average of 350 passengers
accommodated in comfortable and well-appointed
suites, junior suites and staterooms. Enjoy a
casual dress code, open-seated dining and many
diversions, including the outdoor pool, a full-service
spa and stimulating talks in the lecture theatre.
Two restaurants celebrate the Mediterranean’s
glorious culinary tradition with the best ingredients
in delicious and healthful dishes. Enjoy full waiter
service and easy sophistication in the Marco Polo,
the ship’s more formal dining room, where lunches
and dinners feature delectable entrées. At dinner,
complimentary house wines are carefully sourced
from noted wine regions around the world. The
Terrace Café offers cooking on the open grill and
indoor and alfresco seating for breakfast, lunch
and dinner. The bistro-style restaurant serves
appetizers, paella and authentic Italian pizzas. For
a special treat, take afternoon tea — an English
tradition made magical when enjoyed at sea. Aegean
Odyssey’s crowning touch is the fine service of the
crew, whose attention to detail and graciousness
will complete your unforgettable voyage to antiquity.
