for you. Conveniently located in the Gallery of the hospital, the boutique offers
specialized wigs, breast forms, bras, skin care products and gift items. The
boutique provides personalized products, support and compassion for cancer
patients, survivors, their families and friends.

Wigs.
Whether you want to get a wig that matches your hair color and style or
you want to try a new look, the Cancer Center Boutique is the place for all
your wig needs. All wigs can be customized to your specifications. These
specialized wigs can be ordered and will be available for pick up within
two days. There is also a variety of wigs available for immediate purchase
at the boutique.

100 salon inspired colors and more
than 125 different styles to find your ideal color and style
• All wigs are made of high quality synthetic fibers that are made to last
• Colors can be combined or blended to find the perfect match
• All wigs are made of synthetic material, which is easy to care for, less
expensive and requires no styling.
• Women’s, men’s and children’s wigs are available
• The boutique manager is happy to meet with individuals to talk about options

Headwear.
The Cancer Center Boutique offers a variety of headwear to be worn alone,
over a wig or with added accessories. Headwear such as scarves and caps
keep your head warm while also making you more confident and comfortable. We offer a variety of colors, patterns and styles for all occasions.
Come to the boutique to find the perfect headwear, whether you will be
wearing it to sleep or to a formal event.
• Headwear is available in cotton and nylon fabrics
• Items are selected based on comfort, versatility and style
• Seasonal styles are available such as wide brimmed hats for summer
and cable knit caps for cooler weather
• Sleep caps can be purchased to provide you with warmth and comfort
while you rest and relax

Bras and Breast Forms.
The Cancer Center Boutique manager is licensed to do fittings for full and
partial breast forms and bras. There are hundreds of bras available at the
boutique, so you can find the perfect one for you. No need to worry about
getting a prescription for your new bras and breast form, the boutique
manager will obtain a prescription from your physician no matter if it’s
your first fitting or future fittings. The manager will file all the paperwork
with your insurance company. It is easy and convenient to get a breast
form(s) or bra(s) right here at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
• We offer a variety of bras in different sizes, styles and colors
• Bras are designed to fit three
distinctive shapes: shallow, average and full
• These bras feature pockets on
both sides for the insertion of
full or partial breast forms
• Types include sports bras, seamless bras, bras with underwire, wireless bras
and bras with decorations such as lace
• Bras are ordered from Natural Wear, American Breast Care, Amoena, and
Jodee
• Not wearing a breast prosthesis or wearing a non-weighted prosthesis can
result in spinal curvature, shoulder drop, back and neck pain and balance
problems
• Different types of breast forms are available based on your preferences
• The boutique manager is board certified to provide fittings for breast forms
and bras in a private, comfortable atmosphere

Cancer Awareness Merchandise.
There is a wide variety of merchandise available for cancer survivors, anyone who has been affected by cancer, and anyone who wants to help in the fight to find a cure. Come browse the shelves and racks to find merchandise that is meaningful to you.

other clothing is available to purchase so
that you or someone you love can take part
in spreading cancer awareness
• Picture frames: these can hold photographs
to help you show your support and acknowl
edgement of how cancer has affected your
life or the life of someone you love
• Jewelry: from fashionable medical alert bracelets to lapel pins to necklaces, the boutique has a wide variety of jewelry to appeal to anyone
• Greeting cards: express your feelings to
someone you love with these heartfelt, funny
and original greeting cards, you can find one
for any occasion
• Coffee mugs: buy one for yourself or some
one you love and be reminded of the fight
for a cure while relaxing with a mug of tea,
coffee or hot cocoa
• Inspirational items: purchase a sentimental
decoration featuring an inspirational quote

Skin Care.
The Cancer Center Boutique has skin care products to help with cancer treatments. Products include non-metallic deodorant, aloe
vera and lotions to make you more comfortable.
Stop by today to pick up the skin care products
you want and need.
During Treatment:
• Gel sheets: provide cooling comfort that can
be used on the treatment site during treatment
• Non-metallic deodorant: can be used during
any treatment involving radiation to the chest
wall, allows you to wear deodorant to stay dry
without the risks associated with metallic
deodorant
• Aloe gel: can be used to provide cooling
relief during treatment
After Treatment:
• Skin care repair cream: can be used after
you are finished with your treatment, this
cream heals damaged skin cells, provides
relief to dry and irritated skin, protects skin
from additional damage
• Aloe gel: can be used after treatment to
continue to provide cooling relief and ease the discomfort of dry, irritated skin
