Georgia Tech 10th Annual Ramblin’ Wreck Mock Trial Invitational 1 2 Tournament Schedule Please find below the tentative schedule for the tournament. If the schedule is updated at any point before the tournament, the most current version will be sent to all participants and judges. Copies of the schedule will also be provided to teams when they check in at the registration table on Saturday, January 24, 2015. The address is: 800 West Peachtree St NW Atlanta, GA 30332-0520 ** All of the directions below take you to the parking deck across the street from the building. This is where you will need to load and unload.** Please find below directions to the College of Management From the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (I-85N): • • • • • • • • Take I-85N towards Atlanta. I-85N merges with I-75N. Exit at 249D: US-19/Spring St/W Peachtree St. Stay in the left lane, which heads towards W Peachtree St (the road curves slightly to the right. Stay in the lane until you reach W Peachtree St). Turn left on W Peachtree St. Turn left on 5th Street. Immediately after turning, the College of Management will on your left. There is a driveway where cars can be unloaded. To park your car: from W Peachtree St, turn left onto 5th Street. Turn left on Spring St. At the first stoplight, turn right into the parking deck. From Interstate 75 (I-75) North • • • • • • • • Take I-75N towards Atlanta. I-85N merges with I-75N. Turn left on Spring St. At the first stoplight, turn right into the parking deck (770 Spring Street). From Interstate 85 (I-85) South • • • • • Follow I-85 South to Exit 84 (17th Street/14th Street/10th Street) Turn left onto 17th Street Turn right onto Spring Street Follow Spring Street to Fifth Street and turn left onto Fifth Street The College of Management will be on your right. There is a driveway where cars can unload. To park your car: Driveway in front of building exits onto West Peachtree street. From W Peachtree St, turn left onto 5th Street. Turn left on Spring St. At the first stoplight, turn right into the parking deck (770 Spring Street). Parking info: The campus map for Georgia Tech can be found online at: http://www.gtsquared.gatech.edu/assets/files/campusmap.pdf The Parking map can be found at: http://pts.gatech.edu/Documents/ParkingZones2014.jpg There are two options for parking at Georgia Tech for the Ramblin' Wreck Invitational. 1) If you would like a more convenient spot, you can park in the Technology Square Parking Deck, which is located right across the street from the College of Management. The parking rates for this deck is as follows: $1.50/hour $10 maximum for the day ($20 for lost ticket) To park at the Technology Square Parking Deck (pay lot): from W Peachtree St, turn left onto 5th Street. Turn left on Spring St. At the first stoplight, turn right into the parking deck. 2) There is also metered parking available near the College of Management, but there are no guarantees that a spot would be available. However, there are time limits on these meters, and your round is likely to exceed the time allowed at the meters. As these meters are monitored by the City of Atlanta, not Georgia Tech, GT Mock Trial will not be able to absorb any parking tickets. We recommend parking in the Technology Square Parking Deck to avoid any fines. 4 Nearby Restaurants Below is a list of restaurants, cafes, etc., available at Technology Square on 5th Street (where the College of Management is located) and within walking distance. There are several other restaurants and fast food places within driving distance.
