The UPB Pocket Programmer was developed to help installers with filed configuration of a UPB network and devices. The pocket programmer
virtually eliminates the need to have a PC with Upstart software and a computer interface module at every jobsite. With the UPB Pocket Programmer

UNIVERSAL POWERLINE BUS
A Universal Phase Coupler is required for all residential two-phase
installations. While some basic UPB functions can be set via
simple push buttons on the wall switches and modules, the power
of UPB is best realized by using the Windows-based UPB
configuration tool called UPStart. UPStart is a free download from
most UPB product manufacturers' websites. UPStart requires a
Computer Interface Module to connect the PC to the powerline,
which can be removed after configuring. Once installed, a UPB
system can operate without a computer or central controller.
Scheduler/Timer
UPB is compatible with a growing list of home automation
controllers, such as HAI Omni Series, Elk M1, RCS CommStar,
JDS Stargate and Aegis systems.
This UPB Scheduler-Timer was designed for ease of use and maximum functionality.
Once the unit is set for time, date and location (zip code or latitude and longitude) there
are only two displays needed to add devices and set up events. Once the SchedulerTimer has been set-up, the User can forget about it.
UPB is also supported by several major home automation
software products, such as Home Automated Living and
Omnipotence Software.

SimplyBrilliant™ UPB Dimming Transceiver Switches provide
ultra-reliable control of new and existing lighting fixtures,
lamps, and fans. Each unit has one switch that controls a
single load of up to 900W. All rockers and buttons are
transmitters able to communicate with UPB plug-in modules
and/or other UPB devices to control virtually anything.
Simply Automated’s SimplyBrilliant™ Universal Dimming Transceiver Switches provide the
same ultra-reliable control as our Standard Dimming Transceiver Switches, while offering
greater flexibility. Each base unit has one switch that controls a single load of up to 900W, and
can be field-configured to accept single, double, triple, and quad rocker faceplates, as well as 4
and 8-button faceplates. And, all faceplates are interchangeable in the field without ever
having to untwist a wire nut!
