After sitting down in the waiting room for ten to 15 minutes, a fabulous doctor named Iwilah called me in and started treating me right away. She told me she was heading out the door to go home for the night, but saw my file and decided to save me six hours of waiting. Cafeteria prices increase On August 15, there will be an increase to cafeteria pricing. This increase is in response to rising input costs that have occurred over the past two years. Overall, prices will rise an average of 4.5 per cent, but will vary by item with some prices increasing more than others. The following table outlines the new pricing for some of the most common cafeteria selections: Cafeteria Item Current Price Price as of August 15 Large Coffee $1.73 $1.80 Small Coffee or Tea $1.05 $1.10 Pizza $3.67 $3.85 Soup (large) $2.35 $2.45 French Fries $1.50 $1.70 Hot entree $3.52 $3.75 Stir Fry/Noodle Bowls $6.12 $6.50 We appreciate your ongoing patronage and will always strive to provide the best possible variety of quality food items at a reasonable price. I would ask that you please recognize these two fantastic individuals and give them my sincerest thanks. This is what health care delivery can be like for others in Saskatchewan; a modicum of time and care, which goes a long way in helping patients get treated and back to their lives. Thank you. Long story short: I went jogging and got a mosquito in my eye I just couldn’t get out. Unfortunately, this happened just before the Meadow Primary Health Care Centre closed for the night, so I headed to the Emergency Department (following HealthLine’s direction).
