Lamp Lighting Solutions Awards ‘15
Objetives ‘15
Light is a fundamental element of life and a
key aspect of any architectural project.
Prizes will be awarded to projects that have
successfully met the architectural lighting
needs of an indoor or outdoor space, having
created a positive synergy between architecture,
indoor design, landscaping and lighting.
The Lamp Lighting Solutions Awards value
the creativity, innovation and sustainability of
lighting projects, regardless of the manufacturer
or the brand of lights used in the project.

This year’s the theme is “Light and darkness”; lighting
projects, both indoor and outdoor, in which not only
light but also shadow and darkness play a key role in
defining form and space, revealing surface and texture
and in creating ambience and character: urban areas,
landscapes, cathedrals, churches, transport interchanges,
airports, hotels, shops, restaurants, etc. Only idea-based
projects will be accepted.

01.01.13 and 31.12.14; regardless of the manufacturer
or the brand of lights used in the project. Each
contestant can participate in all the categories, with a
maximum of 2 projects per category.
LIFE OF LIGHT
Due to the International Year of the Light 2015 declared
by UNESCO, the “Life of Light” will award a professional
for a life dedicated to light. Because we know that light
lovers exist, and that without them the industry could
not have evolved by leaps and bounds and we want to
thank them.
If you are a lighting association, foundation, institution
or a media, we encourage you to submit your candidates
for this “Life of Light” award of merit (max. 2 candidates
by association). The jury will analyze the proposals and
announce this recognition award at a special evening
event in Barcelona during the month of June 2015.
Registration period and submittal from 15th September 2014 to
31st January 2015.
