AWC Frac Valves
AWC Frac Valves 2 Archer Overview Who we are AWC is the only gate valve supplier that manufactures and services its valves entirely in the USA. Our superior products and extensive oilfield experience ensure that AWC’s Hydro Master and Torque Master valves represent the latest generation of gate valve technology. Our valves are widely used by specialized well-control companies and are the preferred valves of many shale-play operators throughout North and South America, the Middle East and North Sea. Forged steel components AWC’s frac valves utilize a hammerforged valve body that begins as a dense, homogenous block of high-quality U.S. steel. This process vastly improves body integrity, minimizing the risk of failure. All AWC Hydro and Torque Master gate valves are manufactured in accordance with API 6A and are ISO 9001 Quality Management System recognized by Det Norske Veritas Certification, Inc. (DNV). Service when and where you need it Aftermarket service centers are a critical aspect of efficient oilfield operations and aid in reducing the total cost of ownership of our customers’ equipment. AWC understands this and is ready and able to completely service our frac valves at each of our strategically located service facilities. Why choose AWC? • Field proven- Over 8,000 frac valves installed over the last 10 years • Assured Safety- Exclusive emergency upper and lower back-up stempacking assemblies • OEM Support and Service- Regional aftermarket service & support centers including full machine & welding capabilities • Extended Asset Life Cycle- Through OEM certified maintenance program • Sour Service Ready- No need to special order • Clear Valve Status- Standard acting gates allow field personnel to easily see if the valve is open or closed • Quality- All AWC valves are built in accordance with API 6-A • Additional Services- Custom machining and welding services available upon request 1 AWC Frac Valves AWC Asset Management and Customer Property Programs – AWC strives every day to be the preferred provider of high pressure API 6A gate valves. Our team is committed to safety, internal improvement, product and service quality, and integrity. Through implementation of our Managed Asset Solutions programs, we can consistently deliver on this commitment. AWC Service Centers have developed a strategy to track and maintain customer property in a concise and detailed manner from initial receipt to final delivery. When a piece of equipment is delivered, our process begins with retrieving serial and asset numbers, which are then accurately logged on a receiving ticket and filed with a bill of lading(BOL). After the receiving process is completed, the equipment is stored on AWC property until it is brought in for disassembly and inspection. When the valve is brought in for teardown, all the identification numbers are logged again during the process of disassembly. Serial number, asset number and heat treatment numbers from all parts are recorded in a repair packet. The valve and corresponding 2 parts are then cleaned before visual and dimensional inspection to ensure all components are within allowed tolerances. All information attained during this process is documented in the repair packet and a quote sheet is made for the cost of the repair. That quote is then submitted to the customer, pending owner approval and issuance of a purchase order to proceed with the rebuild process. The valve is repaired to OEM specifications, with machine work, welding and repairs done in house. Heat treatment is the only procedure currently outsourced in the repair process. As the valve is built up the heat treatment numbers of any new parts are recorded and also documented in the repair documentation. The valve is then tested and stamped with the completed repair date. A recertification and certificate of conformance are also issued for the repaired valve. All records are maintained in our electronic database ensuring easy access upon customer request. Archer 3 AWC Frac Valves Torque Master Lower Torque Operation 50% - 75% lower than conventional ACME mechanical screw stems. "C" The Torque Master valve is manually operated representing the latest generation of ball-screw valve technology. Also, because the new ballscrew valves require up to 75% less torque to operate, they can be opened very easily, even in the presence of high-differential pressure.
