The purpose of the safety device is to stop the elevator safely if the nominal speed is exceeded. The safety device engages with the rack in the event of a drive unit or brake failure. The safety device is adjusted to the required value by the manufacturer and tested. Every 3.5 years the safety device must be thoroughly inspected in a test facility and recalibrated if needed. Our safety device exchange program is integral to the continued safety and operation of the elevator. This program is both reliable and affordable. Your safety is our priority.
