at the Life Insurance Company of Georgia began in 1925. After holding several positions with the
company, Mr. Dobbs served as president and chief executive officer for 22 years (1948-1970). He
then became chairman of the Executive Committee until he retired in 1976.
Mr. Dobbs created the R. Howard Dobbs, Jr.
Foundation, a private charitable foundation, in
1959. He died on June 9, 2003, at the age of 97.
He was a true Southern gentleman, exhibiting
restraint and modesty in every aspect of life.

Auction Terms & Conditions
PROPERTY LOCATION: From Atlanta, I-75 north, take Exit 290 at
Highway 20 and go east four miles to Wilderness Camp Road, turn right,
go 0.8 of a mile to the property. Auction signs and arrows will direct. Most
of the tracts are adjacent to the U.S. Army Corps property lines at Lake
Allatoona.
AUCTION SITE: Quality Inn, 235 S. Dixie Avenue (US Highway 41),
Cartersville, Georgia.
INSPECTION: The property is available for inspection any time at your
own risk.
TERMS: Pay 20% down of the purchase price at the auction. Balance
will be paid in full at closing to be held within 30 days. A copy of the sale
contract may be reviewed prior to the auction by contacting the auctioneer.
CLOSING: Balance of the purchase price is due in 30 days, on or before
Tuesday, April 29, 2008.
BUYER'S PREMIUM: A 10% buyer’s premium will be added to the
high bid. Example: For each $10,000, a 10% buyer’s premium of $1,000
will be added to arrive at the total purchase price of $11,000.
CLOSING ATTORNEY:
ATTORNEY: Closings will be conducted by Lane &
Karlo. Deed preparation and attorney’s closing fees will be paid by the seller; all other normal closing costs will be paid by the purchaser. Taxes will
be prorated as of date of closing. Title insurance will be available at purchaser’s expense.

The cost of the survey and marking of the corners will be paid by the purchasers at a rate of 454 per linear foot with common boundary lines split
50/50 between adjoining purchasers. Final purchaser price will be adjusted
based on the final survey plat.
