REUNION CLASS GIFT PROGRAM
Each year, alumni from each of the reuniting classes commemorate their Reunion year with a Class Gift
to the university. Any gift made between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 counts toward your Reunion
Class Gift total. If you make a five-year pledge, the total pledge amount will count toward your Class
Gift, not just the first-year payment. Your contribution may be directed to the school or program of
your choice.
WHY ALUMNI GIVE
Scholarships: Your gift helps make a top-tier
education possible for talented students across
the country and around the globe, regardless of
their financial circumstances.
College Rankings: Alumni participation is a key
factor in college rankings. When you show your
support for Wash U by making a gift, you help
increase the percentage of alumni participation
and enhance the value of your degree.
Special Thank-You Gift: When you make
a gift of any size in honor of your Reunion, you
will receive a limited edition Wash U T-shirt –
available for pickup at Reunion or mailed to you
automatically following the event. Made of 100%
combed ringspun cotton jersey knit, this Canvas-brand T-shirt will quickly become your
favorite way to show your love of Wash U!
Outstanding Faculty: Gifts to the Annual Fund
make it possible to recruit and retain faculty who
are leaders in their fields. Washington University’s
top-notch scholars and scientists combine their
distinguished research with a passion for teaching
that inspires generations of students.
Friendly Competition: The class with the
highest increase in participation will be presented
with the Class of 1948 Participation Trophy by
Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton at the Saturday
Alumni BBQ.
