5. To maximize support, adjust the straps to ensure natural breast and/or breast form is snug against
your chest wall.
6. Run your finger along the area where the bra’s label is to make sure it’s lying smooth and flat
against your skin.
7. Tug downward on the back of the bra so that it rests beneath the shoulder blades. The line of the
bra should be horizontal from front to back.
8. Bend over at the waist and adjust natural breast into the cup. Another technique is to move the
breast and/or breast form(s) around with your hand until it is satisfactorily in the cup. Your nipples
should be centered into the fullest point of the cup, and the cup should completely contain your
breast or breast form(s).
Post-Op Cami’s
1. Depending on the type of post-op camisole, there are a few ways to properly put them on:
A. Use zipper.
B. Step in and pull up garment.
C. Place arms through shoulder straps and pull down over head.
Washing Your Bras
Your bra’s should be washed after every use. Fabrics hold onto
scents and moisture, creating an environment for bacteria.
Even bras that are specially designed to wick away moisture
should be washed after each use.
Always hand wash your bras to prevent stretching and twisting
that can be caused by the washing machine. Remember you
should never put your bras in the dryer. The heat breaks down
the elastics in the bra, and can burn if set too warm. Line dry
your bras or hang them on a clothing hanger and allow them
to air dry. Never use bleach or fabric softener when washing
your bras and never dryclean or iron.

Under Bust Measurement: With a measuring tape, measure
directly under the bust, see image #1. Position the tape tight
around your body and level across your back. If the number
is 35 or lower, add 5 inches if odd or 4 inches if even. If your
number is 36 or more, go up to the next even number.
Step 2 – Your Cup Size

Over Breast Measurement: With a bra on, see image #2,
gently measure around the fullest part of your remaining
breast from the center of the sternum (breastbone) to the
center of your spine. Double this measurement. Based on the
difference between this measurement and the measurement
in Step 1, you can determine your size using the Cup Sizing
Chart.
Example:
The Under Bust Measurement from Step 1 is 36 inches.
The Over Bust Measurement from Step 2 is 19 inches
and by doubling this, you come up with a total Over
Bust Measurement of 38. The difference between the
Step 1 measurement of 36 and Step 2 Measurement
of 38 is 2 inches. As indicated in the Cup Sizing Chart,
a 2 inch (2”) difference equals a B cup.

The bra band should stay down around the back;
if it rides up, it is too big.
Generally, the back and front of the band should
be even and parallel to the floor.

shapes are suitable for women
whose surgeries remove some
tissue under the arm or toward
the upper part of the breastbone toward the collarbone. The teardrop has
an extension which can be angled for the best
fit. This shape can also be worn on either the
left or right side of the body.

Asymmetrical shapes reach
under the arm to help balance
every area that has been
affected by a more radical
surgery. Underarm extensions
fill and blend where surgery has removed
substantial tissue.

D. Symmetrical Heart
Symmetrical Heart shapes fill
the cup without unnecessary
bulk when no tissue near the
armpit has been removed in
surgery.
There are three distinct profiles to describe breast
shape: shallow, average and full. The profile
type is not dependent on cup capacity. For
example, a D cup can have a shallow profile and
an A cup can have a full profile. By understanding
each profile, you can be assured you get the best
fit possible.

Silicone Breast Prosthesis
1. To place the Silicone Breast Form inside the pocket of the bra, slightly fold the Silicone into
the opening of the bra pocket. You may need to adjust the form for a proper fit.
2. Please keep the original package and store your breast form nipple side down in the cradle.
3. Gently wash your breast form daily with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and pat
dry with a lint free cloth.
4. Never wring, rub or use abrasive cleaners such as acetone, alcohol or any other solvent
on your breast form.
5. Avoid sharp objects and direct sunlight. Before handling your breast form, remove your
rings and bracelets. Beware of small puntures by scissors, pins, jewelry and pets’ claws or teeth.
6. Most Silicone Breast Forms can be used in chlorinated pools and salt water. Contact Silicone
Breast Forms are not recommended for use in the water. Most manufacturers do not
recommend Silicone forms in hot tubs.
7. Light weight breast forms have been known to develop air bubbles when a difference in
altitude is encountered. For example, traveling to higher or lower elevations may produce
air bubbles that appear as clear or dark circles in the silicone. The bubbles will usually
dissappear within a week of when the breast form is returned to the elevation you most
frequent. Air bubbles do not affect the life or warranty of the form.
Leisure Breast Prosthesis
1. To place the Leisure Breast Form inside the pocket of the bra, slightly fold the Leisure
into the opening of the bra pocket. You may need to adjust the form for a proper fit.
2. Leisure care varies for each manufacturer.
A. If the cover is removable, you can hand wash the cover and air dry.
B. If the cover is non-removable, spot clean the form and air dry.
3. Foam breast forms can be snagged, torn or damaged by sharp objects such as jewelry
or needles.
4. Avoid repeated pinching of foam as this may cause miss-shaping or damage.
5. Never place the leisure form in the dryer; it will cause damage to the form.
