KILCOY STATE SCHOOL VOLUME 1 ISSUE 1 PAGE 3 Super School Sleepover - Year 3 Ha ha ha, I could hear everyone laughing in the hall as I entered the room. When everyone got there we started playing really awesome games. First, we played squares which was so fun. Then we played musical chairs. That was really funny because the teachers took away chairs every time someone got out. After the games we started to get ready for dinner. We had burgers for dinner and they were delicious. After dinner, we got ready for bed, brushed our teeth and watched a movie. The movie was called Paddington. It was so funny. The next morning, we played some fun fitness games with Chappy Kate, then our parents took our bags home. I had so much fun at the sleepover. I wanted it to go on forever, but sadly it couldn’t. Emily S 3A “See you Mum!” I yelled out. I could hear the music pumping in the school hall and I couldn’t wait for Mum to leave. I wondered what we were going to do. Finally, the music was turned down and Mrs Knight told us that we were going to play a card game and Musical Chairs. We all ran into the middle and started dancing around. Then the music stopped and we could run to hearts, diamonds, spades or clubs. First I ran to clubs. Mrs Knight picked out a card and it was clubs. “Nooooooo!” I was disappointed that we were out first. It went on until the last person was standing. Later, we watched the movie Paddington. He was a bear. It was a funny movie and my favourite part was when he put a toothbrush in his ear. After the movie finished, we had to go to bed. I couldn’t go to sleep because I was used to my cosy bed at home. Finally, after a long time I fell asleep. In the morning, we packed our beds up and got ready for school. We played a few fun games with Chappy Kate. I can’t wait for our grade four camp! Holly B 3A Wohoo! I won Musical Chairs! I was so excited. I got on the last seat just before Max did. The boys picked me up and cheered my name. We were all having fun playing games in the hall for our Year 3 school sleepover. After the games we got burgers for dinner. I picked all of the ingredients on the table. For dessert we got ice-cream and I got a brain freeze. Later in the night we got into our PJs and got our sleeping bags ready to watch the Paddington movie. It was funny because Paddington went down the stairs riding a bath tub. After the movie, we all went to bed and fell asleep quickly. What a great night. David B 3A Tuckshop News Pies are s ll available for purchase for $3.50.
