Dear Hunters,
Regular feeding has proven to be the most effective way of
attracting and maintaining wild game in your hunting area.
Since game animals normally feed early morning and late
afternoon it is important to feed regularly at these times.
A Magnum Hunting Products feeder will allow you to do
just that...
We have been the forerunner in transforming the industry
from one of simple mechanics to state-of-the-art electronics.
In addition to the rugged and basic photocell units, we
offer three different clock timers in four different controller
assemblies. To make your selection easy, we have provided
pictures of the clock timers along with a description of their
many features. Each clock timer is available in any of the
four controller assemblies shown on the following pages. All
controller assemblies utilize the same mounting dimensions
and can be installed on any of our feeder containers.
And remember, Magnum Hunting products electronics
are covered by a 12-month limited warranty except the
Platinum “+” Timer which is covered by a 24 month limited
warranty.

EZ-SET Digital Clock Timer
This field proven timer uses a unique
LCD quartz digital clock to precisely set
time of day and motor run times. The
rugged constructions of this timer makes
it impervious to most weather conditions.
Many trip time combinations are available
with this timer, with up to eight feedings per
day. Each day can be programmed the same
or independently. Each timer has a motor
run adjustment of 1 to 20 seconds, a remote
control plug, and test button with a 10 second
delay. One battery operates both the timer
and the feeder motor. This timer will operate
on either 6 volts or 12 volts and is very easy
to program.

The Platinum Digital Timer is the latest
innovation in feeder technology. This timer
is the easiest and simplest digital timer to
operate. The timer is menu driven, which
means that a set of instructions are a thing of
the past. It features the following:

c. Min/Sec button - (sets minutes or
seconds)

Snap-Switch Quartz
Clock Timer
We are pleased to offer our unique SnapSwitch Timer. This distinctive model utilizes
a specially designed low force snap-switch
and has up to 12 feeding times per day.
A custom computer circuit controls all
functions of the timer. Just as in all our other
clock models, we have eliminated the need
for a separate battery in the clock by using a
regulator. The length of motor run time can
be adjusted form approximately 1 second to
20 seconds. By the simple push of a button
you can test the unit at any time (8 second
delay). This unit operates on 6 volt or 12 volt
and is very easy to use.

MAGNUM “+” Controllers
This rugged controller is constructed of
tough UV retardant Polypro N-Linear plastic
material with hasp lock rings (for protection)
and a living hinge (gets stronger with use).
It is designed to hold the large rechargeable
12V feeder battery or two 6V dry-cell
batteries. Available with either the Platinum
“+” Timer, the EZ-SET Digital Clock Timer,
or the Snap-Switch Quartz Clock Timer.
This controller comes completely assembled
with a timer, motor, stainless steel slinger,
all mounting hardware, mini-funnel and
easy-to-follow connection and operating
instructions. Operates from a 12 volt battery
(not included) and is fully guaranteed.

Supreme Controllers
Solar Controllers
This exquisitely designed controller
incorporates either the Platinum”+” Timer, the
EZ-SET Digital Timer, or the Snap-Switch
Quartz Clock Timer in a custom-molded
weatherproof Polypro N-Linear plastic
enclosure. This enclosure includes a hasp lock
ring (for protection) and a living hinge (gets
stronger with use). It is designed to withstand
many years of abusive, rugged field use. As
shown, this controller comes completely
assembled with the motor, metal extended range
slinger, all mounting hardware, mini-funnel
and easy-to-follow connection and operatign
intstructions.
Operates from a 6 volt battery which is not
included.
No longer is it necessary to mount your
solar charger to the side of the feeder barrel
esposed to the elements. With the new
Platinum + Digital Solar controller a high
effeciency solar charger is mounted directly
to the tough UV retardant Polypro N-Linear
housing. Simply point the controller to the
east and the rechargeable battery will be
fully charged in a couple of hours even on
overcast days. The charger has a reverse
current blocking diode built in preventing
battery drain at night. The Magnum Platinum
+ Digital Solar Controller is available in 6 or
12 volt with the mounting instructions and
hardware.

Star “+” Controller
Our most popular model! This rugged,
weather resistant controller uses a photocell
(eye) to feed once or twice a day (switch
selectable). The photocell is sensitive to
ultraviolet light which produces dependable
day to day performance even on cloudy
days. The test switch has an 8 to 10 second
delay which allows the hunter time to
escape before the feed is thrown. Faulty
operation due to lighting is avoided by an
electronic filtering system. The amount of
feed dispensed is controlled by adjusting the
motor urn time from 1 to 20 seconds. The
controller comes completely assembled, with
all mounting hardware, funnel and easy-tofollow instructions. Fully guaranteed and
operates on a 6 volt battery which fits inside

Platinum Solar Clock +
Controller
Once again Magnum has come up with an
industry innovation. At dawn an ultra violet
sensor turns the Platinum Solar Clock +
Timer on. Once the timer is on the controller
can be set to dispense feed up to 6 times a
day. Two hours after sun down the timer
powers down and resets itself for the next
day. The timer automatically calculates
the shifting of the seasons. The Platinum
Solar “+” Controller comes in a tough UV
retardant Ploypro N-Linear housing with
hasp rings, a living hinge that gets stronger
with use and a test switch with a ten second
delay feature. The Solar Clock + operates off
of a 6 volt battery (not included). Mounting
instructions and hardware are included.

MAGNUM “+” Hog-Feeder
Controller
Because hogs typically feed at night, you
can hunt them at night with the Magnum
“+” Hog-Feeder controller. This controller
combines the digital Platinum “+” Controller
and the Magnum Night-Lite to produce a
unit that lets the hunter see the hogs under
his feeder at night. The controller comes
completely assembled, with all mounting
hardware, a mini-funnel, metal wind proof
slinger, easy-to-follow connection and
operating instructions. It is powered by a
12 volt battery not included) and is covered
by the Magnum 2 year warranty. See the
features of the Platinum “+” timer in the
preceding pages.
All Night Hog Light
This innovation if hog lights allows hunters to
hunt hogs from dusk to dawn. A photo electric cell causes the powerful industrial LED’s
to come on at dusk and remain on during the
night time hours then turn itself off at dawn.
Powered by a rechargeable 12-volt battery the
LED’s are the most powerful in the industry
and cast enough light to clearly see hogs under
feeders. Magnum’s new high efficiency solar
charger will completely recharge the battery
during the day. The new Magnum all night
hog light makes spotlighting hogs obsolete.

Crank Up Feeder Towers

designed pulley head, a crank up/crank
down winch, and bigger cable to allow for
maximum hunter safety. Shown with #62103
