Upon arrival in Capri, your luggage will be transferred directly to the hotel while you are treated to an orientation walk of the famed island. Return to your hotel in time to freshen up and relax before our welcome dinner at a carefully selected local restaurant. (D) Accommodations:Villa Brunella or equivalent. DAY 2 After a typical Italian breakfast of fresh baked bread, sweet cakes, and perfect coffee, you’re off to Anacapri and Mount Solerno, the island’s highest peak. For those who prefer not to walk the 600 meters, there is the option of taking the cable car and fees can be paid on the spot. Today’s walk passes the garden of Jupiter and the stunning Via Krupp, and Marina Piccola. Atop Mount Solerno are heavenly 360 degree views. Those who wish can continue the decent on foot while others can take the cable car to the village of Anacapri. Following a short guided tour you will have time on your own for lunch and visits to the local shops. Or, return to Capri to wander through the narrow streets and alleys.
