We want our customers to know that in the big doors market Barduva is the company providing the high quality BIFOLD hangar doors at very reasonable prices. Developments in new technologies, agricultural machinery, bigger and bigger storage buildings are constructed, hangars, which needs to close entry-exit gates, to protect property from the weather conditions. Whatever that is, hangar for the industry, building for agricultural machinery or any other commercial project. Decision is clear – BIFOLD Hangar doors. Lifting belts: Belts: width 75mm, thickness – 3mm. Truss: steel tube – 80x80x3mm Opening speed: 0.08m/s (up to 2 minutes) Wind load Pressure: 0.7 – 1.6 kPa depending on size (Class 3 – 5, EN12424) Higher wind loads on request. Side locks: Standard auto-locks automatically Lock and unlock the door as it opens And closes with a push of a button Power operator: Supplied voltage: 308V for motors and 220V for the control unit. Control box: Momentary contact, 3-button controls (Up/Down/Stop) standard OPTIONAL CONTROL: Door moves with a push of a button and you do not need to keep the button pressed. With this future photocell sensors must be installed. Sensors are installed on side guide rails, near the floor, to stop the doors in case of any obstacle. Manual emergency controls. SECURITY DEVICES: build – in brake on the engine. And contact sensor in side the bottom rubber shield. Operation principle A solid steel drive shaft that runs continuously for the full width of the door, wraps the belts on the drums and the folding door structure is raised. The shaft with the drums is attached to the door frame near the bottom. Opening Procedure While holding the door on-off switch, which is located on the control unit, electromechanical drives turns shaft and at the same time belts attached to drums begins to raise the gates. Side locks, mounted on a door frame on both sides, embraces the gates and they start to rise. Gate rises to the top with the help of lifting straps and the upper end rigidly attached to the upper lintel. When doors reaches the predetermined height of the opening dis-connectors on the electromechanical drives stops them. Closure Procedure While holding the door on-off switch, which is located on the control unit, electromechanical drive loosens shaft, cables became loose and lifting belts allows the doors to move slowly downward. After landing, side locks presses and fixates doors to the building , thereby ensuring the security and stability of the gate Whole doors perimeter is sealed with rubber. Because of the dense, doubled rubber seal with the cloth inside, doors becomes resistant to any weather conditions! The chain drive motor located in the aid, in case of power failure or breakdown of the door electromechanical actuators can lift or lower doors manually. For such situations there is dedicated emergency release lever and emergency lifting chain. 4 Product datasheet BI-FOLD BARDUVA HANGAR DOORS Door leaf Construction Hinges The door leaf is deviated in two sections, top section and bot- Heavy duty Hinges are welded on the door. Hinges Center door Hinges 310x78 Building Frame Typical structural beam side section and a top steel tube header Belt System The door structure is raised by a special polyester lifting belts (each one's breaking point is 10,000 kg). Lifting belts at the bottom of the door are wrapped on the drum in several places evenly over the entire frame of the gate, that gates would open evenly and easy. Belts never entangles, nor makes noise, nor rust (as opposed to of steel cables). Door lifting belts are perhaps the most important advantage, because you don't need pulleys - less parts, less problems, less maintenance! Lifting belts are made Belt Drum of polyester material, so it is durable and reliable. Lifting Belts 5 Product datasheet BI-FOLD BARDUVA HANGAR DOORS Operating System The Bi-fold door is always supplied with an electrical operat- Manual operation handler ing system, a control unit and two or more electromechanical drives, depending on the door size/weight. The motors are Gearbox placed on the base of the bottom frame section. The door is opened by an impulse from the three-button door controller. Electric motor Figure 3 Drive shaft The shaft is mounted on the bottom panel and runs continuously along the entire width of the door in order to properly support the system. The drive shaft is driven from the gear reducers by a dual chain drive system and at the same time belts attached to drums begins to raise or lower the gates. The shaft is galvanized to prevent corrosion. The motors are sealed with a metallic box, for safety. Figure 6 Motor inside Guide Rollers Bifold Hangar Door Electronic Safety Systems: 1. The upper door height switch switches off electric current when ascending gates reaches the highest point of the opening 2. Side locks, does not let the doors to move and protects against high wind loads while they are in a locked position. 3. 3 buttons control system (up/down/stop). Two buttons located on control unit allows the gate to move up or down by pressing and holding them until gate rises or descend. 4. Photo electric cell sensor is mounted near the floor to stop the doors in the event of any obstacle. In case of an obstacle at the range of photo electric sensor (object, human, vehicle etc.) doors won't descend. (optional function). 5. Warning light and sound signal is needed to alert people at the door operation area. This security system is particularly recommended for doors that will be equipped with a radio remote control or other remote controls (optional function). 8 Product datasheet BI-FOLD BARDUVA HANGAR DOORS DOOR TRUSSES There are many ways to strength a bifold door. Barduva Hangar Doors are provided with an extra Heavy Duty Truss. Depending on the door size and wind load requirements we provide two types of trusses, internal or external, in order to avoid bending's on your door. A - INTERNAL TRUSS Most of the doors are provided with an internal truss. It gives an extra strength in on the door frame and nice outside look . B - EXTERNAL TRUSS The external truss I usually used in larger doors. It gives an extra strength to the large frames without adding extra weight. 9 BI-FOLD BARDUVA HANGAR DOORS Locking Mechanism The locking mechanism is connecting the shaft with the side locks through steel wires. When the door reaches the closing point the locking arms (side locks) lock the door with the frame and seal the door completely. Protecting it from any weather conditions.
