%80%2)%.#%ª 4(%ª7),$ WELCOME TO LAST FRONTIER HELISKIING W hether it’s your first experience or your annual pilgrimage with us to Northern BC our goal is simple: To provide you with a world class ski experience, an experience so good that you’ll crave more. We have designed an exclusive program where you will enjoy the benefits of skiing/boarding in groups of just five people. Since the inception of Last Frontier Heliskiing in 1996, we have been a pioneering force in Canadian Heliskiing and we continue to be so. We hope to share the magnificent British Columbian wilderness with you in a manner that will leave you as it always leaves us, in awe. And we also look forward to showing you the very best of Canadian hospitality. Jörg “George” Rosset President Franz Fux Operations Manager "%,,ªª,/$'% There are two accommodation options with Last Frontier Heliskiing. At both you will be treated to a diverse and appetising menu that will excite any palate. The first of the two, Bell 2 Lodge is located at 1900 feet (600 meters) and was once a basic service station for travelers on their way to Alaska and the Yukon. Bell 2 Lodge is now a modern heliski village with satellite communication and state of the art environmental facilities. It offers the comforts of a first class hotel with a rustic touch of the Canadian wild. The dining room, lounge and bar act as the focal point for skiing and snowboarding stories to be shared at the end of a great day in the mountains. Guests are accommodated in log chalets, located approximately 100 meters from the lodge. All rooms have a private bathroom, fireplace, two queen size beds or 1 king bed both with down duvets. After a day of skiing or riding excitement on the slopes, a Jacuzzi/hot tub and sauna are available adjacent to the chalets, and our resident masseuse is on hand to ease away any aches from the day. If the conditions are unfavorable for skiing, you can strap on a pair of snowshoes or cross-country skis and explore the Bell Irving River Valley. With a little luck you may spot a moose, wolf or other animals that frequent this area during the winter season. 3*1-&:$3&&,*// Starting in 2005, Last Frontier Heliskiing began to push the boundaries of its operation with further exploration of the southern heliski area. We opened a base in Stewart, and now run a 9 passenger Bell 204½ helicopter with up to 27 guests for a limited number of weeks during the the season. We have a solid knowledge of the snow conditions and weather patterns in the area, but much is waiting to be explored with many new runs yet to be skied and named. 5)&508/0'45&8"35 The first settlers arrived in Stewart in 1896, and it quickly grew in the early 1900s due to mining of the mineral-rich surroundings (gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc) until in the 50s the population stood at almost 10,000. However, owing to a depressed market most of the mines closed in the late 1900s, although the few that remain open are still very productive. Stewart now has a growing tourist industry providing visitors with outstanding bear watching opportunities as well as great fresh and saltwater fishing. "$$0..0%"5*0/ %*/*/( The Ripley Creek Inn is home to both guests and staff alike with meals served just across the street at the Bitter Creek Café. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, queen size beds with down duvets, telephones and TVs. As this ski adventure can only be available to a few skiers due to the exclusive character of our operation, we ask you to thoroughly read our brochure and our price list before registering. According to your commitments, costly measures are taken and other interested guests may be turned away.
