CO COS is to allow or deny types of calls on CO lines with different levels of restriction/allowance rule. By default in ipLDK-60, all stations and CO lines are assigned as COS level 1, no restrictions. So, any types of calls like long distance or international calls can be made from any stations through any CO lines. There are 9 different levels of COS setting (V3.7Ff version) on both station and CO, which can be applied in combination. This can be programmed on either station or COS or Both. Below is the rule table. Generally, station COS rules cover most of the requirements. For example, Station COS level 2 is ruled by Exception Table A. Station COS level 3 is ruled by Table B. 1 For this assignment, follow below 2 steps. ① Make the exception table for allowance and denial for certain numbers. ② Apply the COS level on stations or CO lines At next page, a simple example will be given. So, this should be handled by the system. To do so, ipLDK-60 should be programmed properly. -With the shared-use mechanism of PRI channels by any stations, it is required to give the caller’s ID (DID number) to the callee for any outgoing calls. In order to do this by ipLDK-60, it is required to be programmed as “outgoing caller ID assignment” - For any incoming DID calls, it is required to convert the DID number to the dedicated internal station number if the station numbering plan is different from the subscribed DID numbers. Here, this will be explained with one of typical examples a.10 PRI channels to be subscribed which will be assigned as CO4~CO13.
