 Our Story Sweet Christine’s Bakery LLC is a rapidly emerging gourmet gluten-free baked goods producer for private label, food service, food club and retail baked goods purveyors. The Company began as an innovation kitchen in 2008 where founder and Chief Culinary Innovator/Entrepreneur Christine Ruggio experimented with all natural ingredients to create delicious, "normal feeling" 100% gluten free, frozen baked goods. Christine was driven to develop these products in response to her personal diagnosis of Celiac disease, (a debilitating autoimmune response to glutens) which she had suffered from for years as a result of medical misdiagnoses. The result of several years of intense culinary formulation work has been the creation of best of class, "gourmet quality" gluten-free bread, pizza crust, sandwich wrap and sweets, including brownies, muffins, cakes and cookies. The year 2014 has been a banner years for our company as we opened the Sweet Christine’s Bake House and increased our production capacity by an order of magnitude. The facility received a Gluten-free Certification from the GFCO achieving less then 5 PPM gluten. We also moved our corporate headquarters to an expanded space with an innovation kitchen and meeting and sampling rooms for prospects and customers. Our Consumer “Gluten-free” has become an identity for an emerging market of millions of Americans who have reduced or eliminated their consumption of wheat, barley, rye, and oats due to health concerns. Like so many diseases or afflictions in the past, a large segment of the population is just beginning to become aware of the gluten intolerance/allergic response many people have to glutens contained in the products they consume.
