The ThinkTank works to maximize the effectiveness of European
Film Policy. TinkThank concentrates on generating change to ensure that filmmaking environments do not evolve into stagnant
subsidy cultures. We set up forums of debate, producing outcomes
that provide the impetus for change. In these debates we require
participants to be courageous in questioning, challenging when examining received wisdom and acknowledge, yet not be blinded by,
narrow interests. These forums should become a valuable network
for the European film industry, its national film agencies, its various film funders and experts from production, distribution and exhibition, preservation and education.

selection. Kino Sõprus and its operator´s non-profit organization

The Macedonian Film Fund was established in 2006 to provide
comprehensive funding for the film industry and to further develop
the traditions of the national cinematography, developing a new cinema, opening up sales channels and promoting films and film authors. The film funding activities support the development,
production and distribution of films which have a likely potential to
achieve international recognition, thereby enhancing the cultural
identity of the nation's film productions and improving the economic
viability of its cinematography. The Fund also encourages all filmmakers to engage in international co-productions as a way of providing international distribution and thus wider audiences, recognition
and promotion for the nation's films and filmmakers. The Macedonian Film Fund aims to attract foreign producers to shoot in the
country, offering very competitive prices, different tax incentives and
the most beautiful of landscapes which are all within easy reach.
