fromavarietyofnationallyrecognizedcontemporarychoreographers.WhileinDCshealsodancedwiththepost-modernbased
companyDanceAntonini,whichperformedintheNationalImprovisationFestivalandvarioussite-specificworks.Morerecentlyshe
hasdancedwithFuzionDanceArtists,RepertoryDanceTheateratFloridaStateUniversity,andMaryLoveDanceProjects(MLDP)a
researchbasedcompanyshealsodirects.WithMLDPshehastouredtheeastcoastandappearedinabroadcastTed(X)production.
ShehashadthehonortoperformadiversebodyofhistoricandcontemporarychoreographicworksincludingdancesbyIsadora
Duncan,MariusPetipa,LyndaDavis,AlanDanielson,LizLerman,HeleniusWilkins,NellieRainwater,AmyMarshall,SandraNeels,
amongothers.Ms.Ward’schoreographyhasbeenpresentednationallyandabroadinTheFloridaDanceFestival,WestFestDance
Festival(NYC),NewGrounds(FL),TheDUMBODanceFestival(NYC),CoolNYDanceFestival,DCArt-O-Matic,TheSouthCarolinaDance
Festival,AtlantaBlabbermouthDanceFestival,TheShiftOrlando,TheGatewayCenterfortheArts(FL),andinternationallyinthe
DominicanRepublic.ShehasalsobeencommissionedtosetworkatDartonCollege,DaytonaStateCollege,andthepre-professional
programatTheCenterforContemporaryDance,wheresheistherecipientofanartisticresidency.Ms.WardholdsanMFAinDance
PerformanceandChoreographyfromFloridaStateUniversity,aBSinBiologywithaminordegreeindancefromWinthropUniversity,
andisacertifiedPilatestrainerthroughthePhysicalMindInstitute.ShehastaughtdanceatValenciaCollege,FloridaStateUniversity,
andfrequentlyservesasaguestinstructorforvariousdanceintensivesandconferences.Sheistheprofessorofcontemporarydance
atFloridaSchooloftheArts.
JessicaMayhew,originallyfromMiami,FL,isagraduateoftheartsprogramatCoralReefSeniorHigh.SheattendSantaFeCollegeas
arecipientofatalentscholarshipandbecameamemberoftheperformingcompanyDanceTheatreofSantaFe(DTSF),working
closelywithartistinresidence,AlbertoAlonsooftheNationalBalletofCuba.Shewasfeaturedinmanyofhisballetsandappearedin
thedocumentaryfilm“DanceofmyHeart,”whichfollowedMr.Alonso’sprofessionalcareer.Jessicamadeherprofessionaldebutwith
FloridaDanceTheatreofLakeland,FLbeforefinishingherundergraduatedegreeattheUniversityofFloridainCriminologyandLaw.
SheholdsanMFAfromFloridaStateUniversityinDancePerformanceandChoreography.WhileatFSUsheperformedwithDance
RepertoryTheatreandinworksbyJoséLimón,GerriHoulihan,MichaelFoley,AlanDanielson,AndrewNoble,TimGlennandLynda
Davistonameafew.AfterreceivingherMFAJessicacontinuedtodanceprofessionallywithSurfscapeContemporaryDanceTheatre
inNewSmyrna,FL.ShehashadherchoreographypresentedinternationallyinKazakhstanasacollaborationwithPeterKalivasand
thePGKProjectofSanDiego.Nationally,Jessica’sworkhasbeenpresentedattheDUMBOWhiteWaveFestivalandtheDanceGallery
FestivalinNYC,theAlabamaDanceFestival,AmericanCollegeDanceAssociation,FloridaDanceFestival,NewGroundsFestival,and
theRinglingInternationalArtsFestival.JessicawasalsocommissionedtosetworkforTheTallahasseeBalletandaMFAthesisconcert
atFloridaState.JessicahasservedasadancestaffmemberatFloridaStateUniversity,SantaFeCollegewhereshewasalsodirectorof
thestudentdancecompany,DanceTheaterofSantaFe.JessicaistheprofessorofballetatFloridaSchooloftheArts.
JenneVermesisaprofessoroftapdanceatboththeUniversityofFloridaandFloridaSchooloftheArts.She
earnedherBachelor'sandtwoMaster'sdegreesfromFloridaStateUniversity.Sheisalsoaninstructorand
directorofthetapprogramatseveralstudiosandconservatoriesinSt.Augustine,Jacksonville,andFlemingIsland.Sheistheowner,
choreographerandprincipaldancerofherowntapcompany,“NoiseComplaint,”whichhasreleasedseveralprofessionalvideosand
performedatmajorconventioneventssuchasMegaCon,FloridaAnimeExperienceandDragonCon.Additionally,from2010-2012,
Jennetouredasadancer/singerfortheinternationallyacclaimedband,TheCruxshadows,travelingacrossEurope,theCaribbean,and
NorthAmerica,dancingonstagesatmajorinternationalfestivals.
MorganBrownisoriginallyfromLosAngeles,California.Sheholdsabachelor’sandmaster’sdegreeindancefromtheCalifornia
InstituteoftheArts.ShehasdancedprofessionallyfortheCleoParkerRobinsonDanceTheatreandworked
abroadasaguestartistperformingandchoreographinginGhana,WestAfrica,Edinburgh,Scotland,and
Lennestadt,Germany.From2002-2004inAccra,Ghana,shestudiedtheinfusionofAfricandanceandculture
withWesterndanceforms.ShealsoearnedagrantfromtheU.S.EmbassyofGhanatoproduceaballet
basedonanAfricanwardancethatincorporatedtheNationalTheaterofGhanaDanceandMusicEnsemble.
MorganhasbeenafacultymemberattheCollegeoftheCanyonsinSouthernCalifornia,Harvard-Westlake
School,FloridaStateCollegeatJacksonville,DouglasAndersonSchooloftheArts,aswellasFloridaSchoolof
theArts.Shealsodirectsherprofessionaldanceensemble,MorganBrownDanceCompany.
DewittCooperisfromJacksonvilleFLwherehestudiedatDouglasAndersonSchooloftheArts.HeholdsanMFAinmoderndance
fromCaseWesternReserveUniversityandhehasanundergraduatemusicaltheaterdegreefrom
FloridaStateUniversity,wherehewasthefirstAfricanAmericanMaletobeadmittedtotheprogram.During
histimeatCaseWesternReserveUniversityhewasnominatedfortheWittkeUndergraduateteaching
award.In2006hewasawardedtheOkieAwardbytheLaVillaSchooloftheArtsformostinspiring
Choreography.Recentlyin2007hischoreographywasrecognizedattheNuvoDanceCompetitionandin
2008hischoreographywasawardedPlatinumAwardsattheApplauseTalentCompetition.Mr.Cooperhas
alsosetchoreographyfortheproductionofJuliusXforplaywriterAlLetsonatPlayersbytheSea,Dream
GirlsandtheFAMUConnectionTourattheEssentialTheatre.TodayDeWittCoopercontinuestoworkwith
GarthFaganattheSummerMovementInstitutewherehetrainsintensivelyasateacherandstudentunder
GarthFaganandNatalieCropper.HisprofessionaldanceexperienceincludesPhlavaDanceCompany,Great
LakesFestivalBallet,andVerlezzaDance.Mr.Cooperalsocontinueshisprofessionalcareerinmusical
theatre.Hehasplayedtheroleof“Simon”intheAlhambra’sproductionofJesusChristSuperstar.Other
professionalcreditsinclude:WestSideStory,AnythingGoes,SheLovesMe,AintMisBehavin,OnceonthisIsland,andBlackNativity
arejusttonameafew.HehassungfortheAnnReinkingDoctorialCeremony.HehasalsoperformedattheWaltDisneyWorldAnimal
KingdomwhereheisacastmemberofFindingNemotheMusical.Currently,heisanartisticdirectorwithCooperMorganDanceand
isafacultymemberatFloridaSchooloftheArtsandBowlesHighSchool.
LarryAlbright,aka,TheBeast,hasbeenchoreographing,teachingperforming,andtraininginhisstyleofHipHopfor14yearsallover
theU.S.andabroad.HehaschoreographedforartistssuchasMohombi"BumpyRide,"SeanKingston"Fire
Burning,"andSophiaDelCarmen"NoTeQuiero."Hehasbeenfeaturedasanopeningactforsuchartistsas
Nelly,Common,LilMo,andFabolous.LarryhasalsobeenseenonMTV's"MySuperSweet16"wherehe
openedforPitbull.Thoughhelovestoperform,hispassionliesinteaching.Histeachingexperienceisquite
extensivehavingtaughtalllevelsfromelementarytocollegiateandprofessional.Hehasconductedmaster
classesformanyconventionsincludingDanceEducatorsofAmerica,DanceMastersofAmerica,PickThe
StarsInternational(Can),andStreetStylzHipHopConvention.Hehasalsotaughtatmanycollegesincluding
RutgersUniversity,FloridaInternationalUniversity,NorthwoodUniversity,FloridaState,andFloridaSchool
oftheArts.Currently,heistheleadchoreographerfornewInterscoperecordingartistJRandall"Spiritofthe
Radio-StepUp3DMovieSoundtrack."
