Holly and Ivy Society Members Visit Belgium Arboretum Members of the Holly and Ivy Society visited the Belgium Bokrijk Arboretum during the September 2013 European trip. A landscaped garden with a mixture of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants, the arboretum specializes in Holly (Ilex spp.), having the largest reference collection of this genus in Europe. This resulted in it becoming an official Holly trial garden affiliated with the American Holly Society. It’s curator, Jef Van Meulder, met the visitors and served as translator and guide.
