How Many Jump Ropes Long?
Today you’ll be measuring things around the library using jump-rope lengths.
Look for long items to measure, such as shelves, bulletin boards, large pieces of
furniture, or even the room you’re in right now! Write the names of the items
you’ll be measuring in the chart, and work together to figure out how many jumprope lengths long they are. Keep in mind that not everything is an exact number
of jump-rope lengths long; you might need to estimate when something is a
fraction of a jump-rope length!
