RÖDBERGSFORTET “MOUNTAIN FORT”
Take a step into the military history. Inside the fort
all the interior, furniture and equipment still remain.
Showing how the fortress worked in daily use and
in battle situation. Boden Fortress includes five
fort blasted into the mountains, placed in a ring
around the city center during the early 1900s. This
is Sweden’s only girdle fortress. This unique defense facility is today a national monument. Opens up
for pre-booked groups during winter season.

FÖRSVARSMUSEUM “MUSEUM OF DEFENSE” Offering a journey into Swedish defense history from the late 1800s until today. Travel through
time in war and peace. The museum highlights the
history among vehicles, cannons and an extensive
collection of uniforms, and offering temporary exhibitions and lectures. Försvarsmuseum is a modern museum with interactive exhibits and caters
to both young and old - simply to anyone who
wants to have greater knowledge about the experiences that characterized the Swedish defense

Challenge the forces of nature on the ice breaker Arctic Explorer. Hear the
