The 10 can’t-miss activities in Cabo
Los Cabos truly has something for each type of visitor. From beaches to activities, shopping to relaxation,
here’s a checklist of “musts” so you can enjoy all that Los Cabos has to offer.
By Sarah Muñoz
1. FIND YOUR FAVORITE BEACH.
Whether you’re seeking a secluded spot for a romantic escapade or a snorkeling piece of shoreline that’s also great for the kids, Los Cabos and
its surroundings offer a multitude of beautiful
beaches. Those low-key roads veering off onto
the sea often hide a bonanza of prime waterfront.
for a tour that takes them just inches away from
these gentle mammals, or even spot them from
beaches or a strategically built bar overlooking the ocean. You may also spot seals sunning
themselves on the rocks around El Arco and
loudly complaining about the presence of kayakers nearby.
2. NURTURE YOUR INNER ARTIST.
You’d be wise to take your camera, pencil or even
pastels every time you leave your hotel room, as
Los Cabos’ natural beauty and man-made élan
provide ample options for a lifetime of memories. Whether it’s the orange traces in the sky
as the sun goes down or fishermen coming back
from a day at sea, Baja’s beauty is meant to be
captured in some way or another.
5. GO ON A ROAD TRIP.
Don’t neglect Los Cabos’ earthly treasures just
because there’s so much to discover at sea. A
drive around Baja is an adventure in itself. Having your own wheels will give you access to miles
of regal cacti, a forgotten fish taco stand with
ice-cold beer and other unexpected surprises.
3. VACATION LIKE A CELEBRITY.
Indulge in a day’s worth of luxurious spa pampering, whip out your sunglasses and stroll about
like the Hollywood stars. Don’t be too surprised
if you spot a famous singer or actor (or even
some paparazzi) “hiding out” beside you, enjoying the warm days and lively nights of Los Cabos. Even decades after the likes of John Wayne
headed here for a little R and R, the glitterati
still love this spot of sassy sophistication.
4. BECOME ONE WITH NATURE.
From December to March, Baja California Sur
welcomes a flurry of whales seeking warm waters in which to give birth. Visitors may arrange
6. HEAD EAST.
To the East Cape, that is. This relatively undeveloped area is a favorite spot for surfers looking to get away from the crowds and those who
love to fish. With more rustic surroundings and
camping sites than its more sophisticated neighbor, the East Cape is a dream come true for nature types, including divers who want to reach
the Cabo Pulmo natural reef system.
7. GO FISH.
Even if you don’t consider yourself the fishing
type, you must try your luck here. Many hotels
and outfitters offer fishing packages and assorted
options for fun days at sea. If you’d rather run
with the big boys, sign up for one of several
championship tournaments.
8. TEE OFF.
As one of the world’s most famous golf destinations, Los Cabos glitters with amazing greens.
Championship courses have been carved out of an
arid landscape that often looks out into the blue
beyond. Everyone from Tom Fazio to Jack Nicklaus, Tom Weiskopf and Greg Norman has helped
design and build what are now some of the area’s
most appealing attractions.
9. COME HUNGRY.
Leave your diet behind and get ready to savor some
of the best seafood and Mexican delicacies in the
entire peninsula. From toe-tingling Pacific tuna to
shrimp tacos with a spicy kick, Los Cabos’ range
of culinary options offers something for everyone.
10. TIME2CABO.
You’re in Cabo! Leave your cares behind and
embrace the beauty and activity around you.

Los Cabos’ courses recognized as some of the best
In the April 2011 issue of Condé Nast Traveler, five Los Cabos resorts were named as part of the Top 125 Golf
Resorts. Esperanza–An Auberge Resort; Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort; Las Ventanas al Paraíso,
A Rosewood Resort; Secrets Marquis Los Cabos and One&Only Palmilla were named among the Top 25
Foreign Golf Resorts.
By Rick Stedman
Most recently, two top Los Cabos golf courses
received recognition within the following publications: The Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol
was voted No. 4 on Celebrated Living’s annual
Reader’s Choice Platinum List of Top 20 International Golf Courses, and was included in Golf
Magazine’s 2011 Top 100 Courses in the World;
Diamante Cabo San Lucas was also named as
one of Golf Magazine’s 2011 Top 100 Courses
in the World.
Names like Nicklaus, Fazio, Norman, Dye, Love,
Couples and Mickelson strongly influence the golf
landscape in Los Cabos. Over the next several years, a
handful of golf courses are scheduled to open. Here’s
a preview of what’s to come.
6 www.TIME2CABO.com
Cabo Riviera Marina & Golf Resort, a scenic 18hole Pete Dye Signature Golf Course with the option to add an additional nine holes, features a unique
waterfront community surrounded by an ecological
landscape. Scheduled for completion in late 2012, the
course is suitable for amateurs and professionals. Currently in development, Chileno Bay Golf & Ocean
Club encompasses more than two miles of coastline
for the creation of luxury home sites and two championship courses designed by Tom Fazio. Located four
miles north of Cabo del Sol, this resort-style community will be one of the premier private clubs and
will feature a private marina and yacht club. Also in
the development phase is the luxurious Montage Los
Cabos. In addition to opening a luxury new hotel
where the former Twin Dolphins Hotel once stood
along The Corridor, Montage Los Cabos has commissioned Fred Couples to design an 18-hole championship golf course. With a spectacular backdrop
along one of Mexico’s most dramatic stretches of
oceanfront property, the two Jack Nicklaus-designed
courses at Quivira Los Cabos promise magnificent
and memorable golf experiences. The first 18 holes of
the course are expected to be completed in early 2012.
The second phase of development is expected to be
complete in the latter half of 2013. Set along massive
sand dunes, rugged cliffs and white-sand beaches, the
highly anticipated courses will be separated into two
golf experiences: an 18-hole course open to resort
guests and a private 18-hole course.

Oasis Course, will be designed by Phil Mickelson at a later date.

Club, courses are listed in order of location driving

What will you catch today?
Jacques Cousteau nicknamed the Sea of Cortés The World’s Aquarium for its abundance of species. It boasts over 850
identified species and at least 80 local and migratory fish that are the focus of sportfishing. Cabo San Lucas is known
as the Marlin Capital of the World, and deservedly so, as there are easily more marlin caught and released here than
anywhere else on the planet.
By Robin Wade
A BOUNTY OF SEA LIFE
Unlike other well-known fishing destinations
where many days and many dollars can be fruitlessly spent chasing marlin, it is not unusual to find
one or more on your very first trip. Peak months for
striped marlin, which range in size from 100 to 180
pounds, include May, June, December and January.
Blue marlin and black marlin frequent these waters from July to mid-November, with sizes ranging from 150 to 800 pounds. Many of the largest marlin ever caught off Los Cabos (those over
1,000 pounds) were caught in off-season months,
so you never know when you’ll get that prized fish.
Sailfish are huge throughout the area, ranging from 70 to 160 pounds. Swordfish can also
be found, but prefer the colder water months of
February and March, although there is always a
chance for them year-round. Some of the largest yellowfin tuna in the world, ranging from 10
to 300-plus pounds, are here. Dorado, also known
as mahimahi, are also numerous. These yellow and
gold fish with shimmering green and blue spots
range in size from 10 to 60 pounds and are considered a prime catch. Another favorite, wahoo, can
reach up to 100 pounds and are one of the fastest
fish in the ocean.
The unusual-looking roosterfish is found close
to the sandy beaches, but is very difficult to catch.
Prized by the fly-fishing crowd, these odd fish
range in size from 10 to over 100 pounds. In addition, the area has some excellent bottom-fishing
opportunities: red snapper, jack crevalle, amberjack,
sierra, cabrilla and yellowtail. And caught with less
frequency are record-size snook, mako, blue and
hammerhead sharks, as well as black sea bass.
DECIDING ON THE BASICS
Cabo’s large marina will help you decide what
boat size is best for you and your wallet. Pangas,
one of the most economical ways to fish, take
up to three anglers for shorter trips of up to five
hours. These trips concentrate on inshore fishing
for smaller game fish. If landing the Big One has
always been your dream, opt for the cruisers, which
are in the 28- to 35-foot range and come with an
experienced crew. Los Cabos also offers one of the
world’s most complete selections of luxury sportfishers and yachts.
If fishing was a last-minute decision, the best
way to decide on a fleet is by talking with different
fleet operators as you stroll around the marina, seeing what each has to offer. If you are planning a trip
down, visit different fleet offices’ websites for more
complete information on fishing techniques, tackle
and amenities. And if conservation is important to
you, make sure you check the fleet’s policy regarding catch and release.

A VARIETY OF FISHING AREAS
Fishing in San José del Cabo has the advantage of a shorter boat ride to the famous Gordo
Banks fishing grounds. Known for its fall and
winter bite, fish opportunities include sailfish;
black, blue and striped marlin; dorado; wahoo;
yellowfin tuna; amberjack; pargo; grouper; skipjack; jack crevalle; sierra and others. Here 22- to
24-foot pangas and super pangas are the most
popular. We recommend reserving a sportfishing
charter boat in advance.
On Baja’s East Cape is the secluded Bay of the
Palms. This area is famous for huge blue marlin,
hard-fighting black marlin and striped marlin. The
East Cape is known as the Roosterfish Capital of
the World and also offers yellowfin tuna. These
waters have been fished by famous anglers, such as
John Wayne and Bing Crosby, and have inspired
writers, such as John Steinbeck and Ray Cannon,
to write tales of their fishing adventures here.

Los Cabos’ adventure-laden landscape
When you feel that pang of fire inside that beckons adventure, heed the call and experience Los Cabos’
outdoor fun. Go hike the mountains, dive down under the waves or fly on a steel line hundreds of feet above
canyons. Challenge yourself to experience some hard or soft adventure in the Los Cabos landscape!
By Nick Honachefsky
SNORKELING, SCUBA DIVING
AND SUBMARINES
Snorkeling is the cornerstone of Los Cabos’
underwater playground activities. Cabo Pulmo
National Marine Park, the sole living coral system
in Western North America, showcases more than
300 species of tropical fish and over 2,000 distinct
invertebrates. Fin around any of the 14 dive sites
located in the Marine Park or venture to the magical manta ray–inhabited waters of Las Navajas.
Take it the next level down by strapping on a
scuba tank. Beginner dives off Sand Falls and
Land’s End in 35 to 70 feet of water showcase jawdropping sandstone forms dropping 1,200 feet.
Advanced dives of up to 130 feet are found five to
eight miles offshore at El Gordo Banks, where majestic 15-foot-wide manta rays, docile loggerhead
turtles and schooling hammerhead sharks swim
around. Ultra advanced dives are located 28 miles
out and feature the wreck of the El Vencedor. Motivated scuba divers can book a trip to Los Islotes
at Isla Espíritu Santo, an area of two large rock islets that attracts schools of silver sardines, blue and
gold king angelfish and yellow surgeonfish.
Transcabo takes it to another level with a
mini-submarine cruise/dive. Motor eight feet
under the water’s surface in a spacious, climatecontrolled cabin and view sergeant majors, yellow seahorses and purple frogfish.
SURFING AND KAYAKING
For standard surfboarders, world-class surf
breaks can be found at the East Cape; Playa Acapulquito, at Km. 28, which is a beginner’s reef
break; Costa Azul’s Zippers at Km. 28 and 29 off
of San José; and Playa Cabo Bello between Km.
5 and 6. Kayakers glide in on three- to six-foot
surf, taking on breaks like Acapulquito and long
line swells at La Roca.
Windsurfers and kite surfers take advantage of
Cabo’s famous El Norte constant 20- to 30-knot
afternoon winds. Outfitters rent out windsurfing boards to sweep you along the coasts of La
Ventana, Punta Chivatito, Playa Hermosa and
Los Barriles.
BAJA’S RUGGED TERRAIN
Baja’s outback is legendary. Washed-out arroyos, sandspit racetracks and rugged rocklands
make it a beach buggy haven. Choose from a
wide variety of guided adventures, from threehour buggy tours to three- to seven-day racer
tours and everything in between. Popular stops
include Half Moon Canyon, La Candelaria,
Santiago and Cañón de la Zorra. To really experience the wonder of Cabo’s countryside, take a
hike. Trek through the majestic Sierra de la Laguna mountains or head towards Fox Canyon, a
beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert complete with glorious rock formations and a natural
freshwater pool under a waterfall.
If you want to see more of the area, saddle
up a horse and ride through the rugged cactuslined landscape and spectacular cliffside sea-
scapes. You can get a bit exotic with Outback
& Camel Safari, which includes a ride to the
desert in a Mercedes-Benz Unimog followed
by a nature walk, a visit to a turtle sanctuary,
an unforgettable camel ride on the beach and
a tequila tasting and traditional Mexican meal
overlooking the Pacific. For a bird’s-eye view
of Cabo, experience the thrill of zip-lining over
three miles of deep canyon terrain with Canopy
Costa Azul.
CRUISES, SAILING
AND SPORTFISHING
Board the Buccaneer Queen, a fully operational
brigantine that regales visitors with swashbuckling pirate shows, sunset cruises and moonlight
sails through the Sea of Cortés, as well as snorkel
tours to Chileno Beach. Partygoers jump on the
144-foot, three-level catamaran Caborey for dinner
cruises, snorkeling tours, margarita cruises, whale
watching and international dance shows.
You’re in the world-class destination for
striped marlin fishing, so take this opportunity
to catch the Big One, or opt for wahoo, yellowfin
tuna, mahimahi, king mackerel and other catches found about 10 to 40 miles offshore. Hook
up with any one of Cabo’s seasoned outfitters
and bring your catch back to local restaurants,
such as the Mango Deck, to have them prepare
it for your dinner. Prime fishing season is August through October, though fishing is generally productive year-round.

Beach hopping is a must in Los Cabos
Born with natural beauty and marked by five-star affluence, the shifting sands along Baja’s shoreline cater to
just about every kind of desire a beach bum or jet-setter can want. Moonlit strolls over secluded sands, hustle
and bustle with free-flowing drinks, high-octane ocean action or serene snorkeling — Baja’s beaches have
something for everyone.
By Nick Honachefsky
COUPLES RETREAT
Sun-kissed holds a different meaning at
Lover’s Beach. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets
set the scene for total romance here under the
grand El Arco stone formation. Jump on a short
panga ride from the bustling Médano Beach
to be dropped off on the secluded sand. Heading north up the Pacific side, you’ll find some
truly vast and silent golden-sand beaches. Keep
an eye out for breaching whales off the coast at
Playa Solmar in front of the Pueblo Bonito resort. Stunning inspirational beauty exists on the
East Cape beaches, where low tides expose vibrant tidal pools that house various sea creatures.
Top it all off with a sunset stroll at Monuments
Beach, or a late afternoon picnic at La Playita at
San José del Cabo.
FUN FOR THE FAMILY
No other beach in Cabo entertains families
more than Médano Beach — packed with WaveRunners, kayak rentals, parasailing tours, volleyball, snorkeling and swimming pool options.
Restaurants such as the Mango Deck and The
Office offer lunches, happy hour drinks or even
a small chair-side siesta. Playa Chileno is noted
as the most accommodating of local beaches; its
shallow, crystal-clear waters teem with tropical
fish for underwater exploration and convenient
restroom facilities and showers are nearby to
wash the kids off. A short stroll from Médano
Beach there’s Cabo Dolphin Adventures, where
kids and kids-at-heart can enjoy a 30-minute up
close and personal swim with the lovely bottlenose beauties in an enclosed pool.
BEACH PARTY
The party never seems to stop at Médano
Beach. Order up a few mojitos from the Mango Deck and take a short walk into downtown
for even more partying at the Hard Rock Cafe.
The Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa hosts a
weekly traditional Mexican Fiesta and fun-filled
beachside barbecue complete with entertainment. To sample the party from the seas, jump
on the Buccaneer Queen for a spectacular sunset
cruise and dockside drinks. Those with discerning tastes head toward swanky Nikki Beach, in
front of the ME Cabo, where a trendy, sexy vibe
soaks the well-dressed, highball crowd. And
leave the driving duties to Transcabo shuttle service, which runs up-to-the-minute shuttles, cars
and vans between most hotels, beaches and bars
in Los Cabos.
WATER ADVENTURES
With 45.75 square miles, Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park is the centerpiece of the
Los Cabos water playground and perfect for
leisure snorkeling or kayaking. Chileno Beach’s
shallow reef system can easily be accessed from
the beach for snorkeling. Kick back on land
with beach umbrellas, purified water and beach
chairs. Be sure to venture to the clear waters of
the San José estuary and shorelines of Palmilla
Bay, filled with diverse aquatic life. For high-octane watersports, visit El Médano Beach Club/
Las Palmas del Médano and enjoy parasailing,
snorkeling and waverunning. Snorkelers can
strap on a mask and explore Land’s End, where
the strange underwater formations of Neptune’s
Fingers and the brilliant sponge-covered boulder
fields of Sand Falls lie.
SURFING BEACHES
East Cape waves attract all levels of surfers,
and ground zero for all things surfing is the Cabo
Surf Hotel, situated at Km. 28. Rent longboards
and shortboards and brush up on your skills at
professional surfer Mike Doyle’s Surf School.
Along the East Cape, Playa Costa Azul offers
some secret and some more popular surf breaks,
such as Zippers off of San José, attracting the
beginner to expert crowd; La Roca, a tasty break
that favors goofy foot surfers; and Acapulquito, a
beginner’s break. El Tule is a strong break set in
the middle of The Corridor adjacent to Chileno
Bay. For more adventure, rent a car from Avis
and head up along the Pacific side of the cape to

Love-filled getaways await
With the most diverse of venues, minute attention to detail and hands-on service, you’ll be hard pressed to
find as idyllic a spot for weddings and special events than Los Cabos. When it comes to romance, this top
wedding destination exceeds expectations — think moonlit receptions and violinists, Mexican fiestas amid
manicured gardens, gourmet fare, and fireworks lighting up the night.
By Sarah Muñoz
There are many reasons why Los Cabos is a
popular spot for destination weddings. Many resorts here offer stress-free planning packages and
have a wedding staff dedicated to preparing magical moments. Los Cabos also boasts a wide variety
of venues, expert wedding planners, top-tier chefs
and delicious catering options, exquisite décor, and
a range of musical entertainment. And it’s also a
wonderful escape for wedding guests, honeymooners and even bachelor/bachelorette parties because
of the destination’s many possibilities.
ALL-INCLUSIVE BLISS
The Zoëtry Casa del Mar Los Cabos expertly
combines Los Cabos’ best attributes with great
choices for couples. And every guest at Zoëtry
enjoys its Endless Privileges program featuring daily meals and beverages of all types, daily
fruit and Champagne, 24-hour in-room dining
and more. Their wedding packages, which may
include everything from printed menu cards to
the bride’s hairstyling, also offer couples a free
night when staying at least four nights on their
first anniversary.
Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa’s
all-inclusive program, Unlimited Luxury, includes all meals and day and evening activities,
plus the Explorer’s Club for kids. Wedding packages include everything from the wedding cake to
discounts at the spa. The Dreams Weddings in
Paradise package gives couples a complimentary
wedding when they book a Honeymoon Suite or
higher category for at least seven nights or if five
rooms are reserved for a minimum of three nights
in any room category. The wedding includes the
minister or justice of the peace, wedding organiza-
tion, preparation of the wedding dress and groom’s
suit, the bouquet and boutonniere, cake and sparkling wine.
The all-inclusive Barceló Los Cabos Palace Deluxe offers wedding packages that can be personalized and feature a room upgrade, a honeymoon
breakfast in the room and more. Couples can receive a free ceremony if the entire wedding party
books a minimum of 70 room nights. All-inclusive packages at Meliá Cabo Real can be tailored
to include couples’ massages, bottles of sparkling
wine, Jacuzzi or bathtub décor for a tandem soak
and more. The resort also works with customized
proposals, providing a great selection of services,
including music, photography, tailored set-ups and
other choices.

CREATING MAGIC
For the ultimate in romance, go to Las Ventanas
al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort, whose Director of
Romance helps create uniquely luxurious experiences for couples. Sleeping with the Stars at Las
Ventanas offers twosomes a king-size bed right on
their rooftop suite or penthouse terrace. Las Ventanas’ Romance Menu also includes a helicopter

Soothe your mind and body
Leaving it all behind is an effortless endeavor in Los Cabos, thanks to its all-encompassing spa and healthy
living options. By combining traditional healing with the most up-to-date techniques, the spas and wellness
facilities here are among the best in the hemisphere, providing healthful, well-crafted cuisine with organic
ingredients, meditative therapies, yoga by the sea and so much more.
By Sarah Muñoz
ABSOLUTE RENEWAL
There is nothing ho-hum about a spa visit
here — Los Cabos facilities have graduated
into fully integrated wellness centers where the
mind-body connection is a key component. Hacienda Encantada’s Holistic Spa, for instance,
offers spiral meditation and a temazcal herbal
steam chamber of pre-Hispanic origins. After a
saltwater bath ritual at Casa Dorada’s Saltwater
Spa, you might want to indulge in a Heaven on
Earth Massage, with two therapists providing
simultaneous upper- and lower-body pampering.
At Capella Pedregal’s Auriga Spa, each experience begins with a floral footbath. Guests can
enjoy water therapy and sound therapy sessions
for enhanced relaxation, followed by a healthy
spa-cuisine lunch with a tea or tonic. A Mexican
folk therapist can also help guests choose treatments based on local traditions that will better
aid their particular needs. The hotel’s fitness
center also offers daily group fitness classes of
yoga and Pilates, as well as personalized one-onone training.
Spas in Los Cabos also seamlessly combine rejuvenation and relaxation. Besides an array of indulgent and body-healthy treatments, Armonia Spa at
Pueblo Bonito Pacífica Resort & Spa offers beachside yoga and a meditation labyrinth to soothe the
mind, as well as signature options such as Watsu,
which combines elements of Shiatsu and yoga in
the water. If you have a packed schedule, take advantage of Secrets Marquis Los Cabos’ new Mini
Spa Indulgences menu, composed of five 25-minute treatments. Among the spa’s signature treatments: the Quetzalcoatl Oxygenating Experience,
inspired by the Aztec water god, where you receive
a eucalyptus foot bath as you enjoy an herbal tea,
then an exfoliation of mineral salts followed by a
derma-purification bath and culminated by being
covered in a hydrating milk of cucumber.
Native influences are also prevalent in the region’s spas. The indigenous Anuiti Collection
at ME Cabo’s YHI Spa is not to be missed. A
series of rituals focused on exfoliation, transformation, renewal, restoration and revitalization
— all inspired by the landscape and culture of
Los Cabos — provide a sumptuous restructuring of body and spirit. Among the options to
consider: the Purifying Cochimie Wrap and the
Anti-Aging Magic Facial.
COSMETIC & MEDICAL OPTIONS
Los Cabos has also become one of Mexico’s
go-to places for health and medical care. Visitors
will find excellent medical facilities and highly
qualified, English-speaking physicians and med-
ical personnel, with treatments and surgical options offered at a fraction of the price of that in
the U.S. The wide array of dental, medical and
cosmetic choices are complemented by many
top-tier resorts in which to relax and recover.
Natural experiences also form part of Los Cabos’ health-oriented offerings. In Las Ventanas al
Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort, new Spa Pods combine water therapy, infrared heat and steam for a
multi-sensory experience that naturally cleanses
the body of unneeded toxins, increases one’s basal
metabolic rate, relieves muscle aches and alleviates
water retention. At Playa Grande Resort’s Thalassotherapy Spa, seawater and its nutrients are used
to treat a number of skin conditions, joint injuries
and back pain, among others.
The SOMMA WineSPA at Fiesta Americana
Grand Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort has been
a trendsetter with its wine- and grape-based
therapies, which put the fruit’s antioxidants to
great use — imagine a Chardonnay bubble bath,
Merlot scrub or Champagne body mud wrap.
Now it offers visitors a neuro-cutaneous facial
repair service and a non-injected meso-sculpting
treatment for those stubborn fatty areas.
It’s easy to disconnect in paradise, but a spa
experience that relaxes and heals makes it so
much simpler!

Accommodations continue to impress
The Los Cabos hotel experience is unlike any other. No other destination blends excellent service, indulgent
amenities and luxurious settings so expertly, serving it up against a dramatic backdrop of water and mountains.
Whether you choose accommodations in San José del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas or along The Corridor that
connects them, you’re sure to get pampered.

FRESH OPTIONS
Among the newest resort properties is Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort & Spa, which opened in early
2011. Future openings include the Wyndham Cabo
San Lucas Resort, slated to debut in early 2012, and
the Ritz-Carlton Reserve, to open in 2014.
Existing properties continue to improve their
offerings. The freshly refurbished Holiday Inn
Resort Los Cabos is an impressive conversion
of the former Presidente InterContinental Los
Cabos Resort. Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort, introduced a “hot off the press”
service that provides access to popular novels up
to six months before their release date.
LUXURY FOR EVERY TASTE
Guests at all-inclusive and European-plan
hotels will notice a superior array of services and
amenities. At the Capella Pedregal Resort and
Spa, guests are treated to the services of a per18 www.TIME2CABO.com
sonal assistant and maid, and guests in a Beach
Suite are also served by a Beach Attendant.
Renowned for its luxurious hotel spas, Los Cabos’
guests can indulge at a variety of facilities, including
the YHI Spa at ME Cabo, the Auriga Spa at Capella
Pedregal Resort and Spa, and the SOMMA WineSPA at Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos Golf &
Spa Resort.
WINE AND DINE
Hotel dining in Los Cabos is a delicious experience.
The Westin Resort & Spa boasts five distinct restaurants with gourmet seafood and international cuisine
among the mouthwatering options. The Hilton Los
Cabos Beach & Golf Resort features El Mesón,
which specializes in bold Mexican dishes, and Fenicia,
where Italian specialties are served with flair.
All-inclusive dining options in Los Cabos are
decidedly upscale and diverse. Guests at Pueblo Bonito Pacífica Resort & Spa, for example, can enjoy its
Luxury without Limitations program, which features
gourmet à la carte dining, wine and tequila tastings,
afternoon tea, cocktails and specialty beverages, all in
a luxurious, adults-only environment.
UPGRADE OPTIONS
Visitors can upgrade and add even more luxury
to their Los Cabos experience. At ME Cabo,
guests can reserve a room on The Level, an entire floor dedicated to upscale services, with suites
that have floor-to-ceiling windows, ocean views
and a wealth of amenities.
The Villa Group offers the Signature Villa Service
upgrade, which provides guests with wine, a beach
bag, flowers and seasonal fruit upon arrival, in-suite
aromatherapy and more. And at Secrets Marquis Los
Cabos, vacationers opting for the Marquis Magic
service will enjoy VIP check-in, a 10-minute neck
massage, welcome drink and guacamole upon arrival,
one evening of complimentary babysitting and more.
