Clatskanie Farmers` Market Open For Business
Clatskanie Farmers’ Market Open For Business Saturdays in Cope’s Park, June through September Buying fresh produce straight from the person who grew it, or eggs from the person who raised the chickens are throw-backs to days gone by. The Clatskanie Farmers’ Market is a great way to help consumers connect with what they are eating: They can talk directly with the gardener or farmer, they can see what fruit, vegetables and berries grow in certain months, and they will come to understand the importance of healthy soil and water that are necessary to nourish crops that are grown without chemicals. The Clatskanie Farmers’ Market will also be filled with arts and crafts which gives the artists a venue for showing their talents. The Market will be in operation every Saturday from June through September from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM in Cope’s Park. A list of seasonal produce, crafts and what is happening each week at the Market will be listed on the Market website: clatskaniefarmersmarket.wordpress.com. You can also follow us on facebook or contact us via e-mail: clatskaniefm@gmail.com. We are always looking for quality produce growers, crafts people and food vendors.
