TECH TYKES NEWS August/September 2016 Tech Tykes Early Learning Center Curriculum: Week of: 8/22/16 OUR CLASS IS A HOOT! This year’s theme will be OWLS. We will be swooping into learning the first week with a new classroom rule chart and birthday wall. We will be changing show and tell up a little. Each child will have a turn to bring in photos and items to share. We will send more information out shortly. 8/29/16 All about our summer experiences: charting places the children went on vacation and talking about summer activities. 9/5/16 Friendship and Feelings: Learning how to share, be kind, and use manners is so important at this age. The children will be participating in activities to help express their feelings and emotions. 9/12/16 Giant and Teeny Tiny: We will be categorizing smallest to biggest and sorting giant and tiny classroom items. Summer is coming to an end. The last three themes are Pirates and Princesses, End of Summer Fun, and Carnival. The last day of the summer program is August 19, 2016. Bedding must be contained in individual cubbies. In order to comply with DHS regulations and Keystone Star requirements we ask that pillows are no larger than 14 in. x 19 in. (travel size) ~You must sign your child in and out daily using the attendance machine.
