4365 1086 Senior Wellness Package Now Available! Have you noticed your cat hesitating before making what was once an easy leap off the couch; or perhaps you’ve noticed your dog has lost the spring in their step and your daily walks are taking longer? Senior pets, although possibly feeling discomfort, get up and get on with life as if it was another great day. Sore or stiff joints, painful teeth and needing a few extra naps each day can go unnoticed as they try to please you or their stomach. Is My Pet Senior? Small dogs & cats over 7 years and large breed dogs over 5 years are considered seniors. How Can I Help My Pet Live Longer? Your senior pet has specific needs and it’s important their annual visit to the vet is increased to twice a year. The “Senior Wellness Package” is $99 (normally $346!) and is for senior cats and dogs that detects the more common problems that can affect them as they get older. Detecting and correcting problems early gives you and your vet the very best chance to prolong and maximise healthy life of your pet. The “Senior Wellness Package” not only gives you piece of mind that you’re across your pets health, it also potentially helps you, through early detection, from paying for costly veterinary treatment and surgery in the future. Your Senior Wellness Package Includes: • A comprehensive blood test that analyses your pet’s blood for common signs of organ and body dysfunction, enabling the vet to better assess their overall health and wellbeing. • A full health check with Dr Rosalynn, providing an evaluation of arthritis and the condition of their sight, hearing, oral health and skin. • A diet and lifestyle evaluation to ensure they are nutritionally and physically getting everything they need to age gracefully. The Senior Wellness Pack is amazing value at $99 (Normally $346!!!) but HURRY this amazing offer expires 31st March. Courageous Cutie! This is Hannibal a 1 year old Husky! Hannibal came to ADAH for desexing and dew claw removal. He was very good during his stay and is recovering very nicely! Good Job Hannibal! Jemima Juju Don’t worry so much. Sooner or later, you will find the biggest stick! Houndy Highlights— Diamond Diamond is a very handsome 3yo white and black boy. He is calm and polite with large and small dogs but not suitable to a home with cats at this point in time. Very sudden movements can sometimes cause him to startle so a calm home with no or older children (12+) would be preferable. Diamond loves company so a friend or an owner who is home a lot would be perfect! Although only 24 months old, Bella has had a lot of sensitivities including pancreatitis and a sensitivity to an ingestible flea treatment. Bella was insured from a puppy which has been a very lucky decision for Bella’s owners. They have been eternally grateful to have her insured and know the medical expenses will be reimbursed after her hospital visits. Is My Pet Sensitive Too? Discovering your pet is sensitive to certain items whether it be diet, environment or prophylactic treatment can be very obvious or be flying under the radar for quite some time. Your pet could be very uncomfortable but you just didn't know what to look for. Signs your pet may be sensitive to a certain item can be internal with vomiting, flatulence or diarrhea or externally with itching, rashes, redness, ear issues or general poor skin condition. What Can Be Done About My Pets Sensitivity? Depending on your pets symptoms the first step would be to eliminate a disease or illness with a trip to the vet. Allergies and sensitivities can be complicated or very simple. A simple diet change or shampoo may be the answer or your pet may require a bit more help. The goal is to ensure your pet is comfortable and enjoys life without having any long term unpleasantness to silently deal with. If you’re concerned your pet may be sensitive to something call us on 4365 1086. Do You Need Help with your Puppy or Dog? Its never too early or too late to start training.
