3 i) iii) Filzer Filzer Pro Engineer Workstand WS-1 Clamp Arm (J) INSTRUCTIONS Warning The workstand maximum load is 25kg (55 lbs). Do not overload the workstand or you could damage your bike and/or workstand. Ensure that the workstand is on a stable floor. Ensure that you position/mount your bike on the workstand so the bike and stand are stable and do not fall over and cause injury or damage. Ensure that your bike is fastened to the workstand securely so it does not move, shift or fall off and damage your bike, stand and/or property. We recommend that you mount/clamp your bike to the workstand by your seatpost and not by your bike’s frame. If you clamp the workstand to your bike frame you could crush or damage your bike frame. Filzer is not responsible for any damage to your bike, stand, and/or property from the use of this workstand. And we are not responsible for any injury caused by the workstand. ii) Clamp Arm (J) should face forwards in same direction as Front Legs (H) Main Tube Height Adjustment Quick-Release (E) i) Open Main Tube Height Adjustment Quick-Release (E), and twist Clamp Arm (J) 180 degrees so it is facing forwards iii) Once Clamp Arm (J) is adjusted to desired orientation lock the Main Tube Height Adjustment Quick-Release (E) Front Legs (H) The Filzer Workstand comes fully assembled. To unfold and use the workstand follow these steps: Workstand parts Clamp Rotation Knob (A) Clamp Arm (J) Bicycle Clamp Jaws (B) 4 Main Tube (F) iii) i) iii) ii) Clamp Arm (J) Bike Clamp Knob (C) Clamp Pivot Knob (D) Main Tube (F) Main Tube Height Adjustment Quick-Release (E) Main Tube Height Adjustment Quick-Release (E) i) To adjust Clamp Arm (J) height, open the Main Tube Height Adjustment Quick-Release (E) and Legs’ Quick-Release (G) iii) Once Clamp Arm (J) is adjusted to desired height lock the Main Tube Height Adjustment Quick-Release (E) ii) slide the Main-Tube (F) upwards or downwards 5 Opening Workstand Rear Leg (I) Bicycle Clamp Jaws (B) Front Legs (H) 1 i) To adjust Bicycle Clamp Jaws (B), turn the Bike Clamp Knob (C) clock-wise to close or counter-clockwise to open jaws Legs Quick-Release (G) i) To open up workstand, open Legs’ Quick-Release (G) Bike Clamp Knob (C) Note: To avoid possible bicycle frame damage, it is highly recommended to clamp the bicycle by the seatpost rather than the bicycle frame. If you must clamp the frame, use minimal clamp pressure to avoid damaging the frame. We are NOT responsible for any damage caused to your bicycle frame if you clamp the jaws to the frame! ii) Slide Legs’ Quick-Release (G) downwards and Front Legs (H) forwards until the quick release gets to the bottom and stops iii) Close Legs Quick-Release (G) Front Legs (H) Note if quick release is too tight or loose, you can adjust it with a hex wrench Workstand folded for storage 2 Clamp Arm (J) i) Twist Clamp Pivot Knob (D) clockwise to loosen it ii) Once (D) is fully loosened, slid Pivot Knob (D) downwards Clamp Rotation Knob (A) 6 (D) Clamp Pivot Knob (D) i) Clamp Arm (J) Clamp Rotation Knob (A) (A) Clamp Arm (J) ii) Clamp Arm (J) iii) Pivot the Clamp Arm (J) upwards so it is horizontal iv) Once clamp arm (J) is horizontal, slide Clamp Pivot Knot (D) upwards and twist it counter-clock-wise to lock clamp arm (J) in place securely i) To rotate the Clamp Arm (J), loosen the Clamp Rotation Knob (A) ii) Rotate Clamp Arm (J) to desired orientation iii) Then lock the Clamp Arm (J) by re-tightening the Clamp Rotation Knob (A) securely Filzer Made in China Fabriqué en Chine www.filzer.com Ver. 1
