A student with a satisfactory community college record will receive full credit for all transfer level courses completed at Pierce College, provided that he or she has met the specific requirements of the transfer college or university. Addiction Studies Associate Degrees Students who satisfactorily complete 60 degree applicable units of coursework and meet the appropriate graduation requirements will be awarded an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree. Associate degree programs are offered in a variety of academic and vocational areas. While this can be completed in two years, it generally takes 2 1/2 to 3 years to earn this degree.
