The classified pages of local newspapers have lost their distinction as the preferred marketplace for auto shopping among consumers. Historically,
class pages allowed consumers to passively shop the inventory of local dealers before traveling to the dealer lots.
That position is now occupied by national, online auto verticals. Today, consumers research and shop inventory listings using several online auto verticals
including Cars.com and Autotrader.com. According to Compass Data, auto dealers already invest a larger share of their budget with digital than print, 37%
to 29%. Moreover, the data predicts that from 2012 to 2015, the buy will shift even more dramatically to digital by as much as 15%. Feedback from our local dealers
confirms this trend. Dustin Walters, dealer principal from Friendship Automotive Group, shared his strategy with
our group at the Times News in June. Friendship Automotive, the largest dealer group in Northeast TN & Southwest
VA, plans to shift most of their advertising budget to digital in 2014. Dustin told us many large dealers spend
upward of $10,000 a month on AutoTrader.com, alone. However, Dustin, and many local dealers complain that the AutoTrader and Cars.com searches are inaccurate,
costing them business to larger out-of-state dealers. We've checked this and they're right. Perform a search on
either national site and in most cases, the vehicle results are routinely far outside the radius of the search parameters. Local buyers may also see this as a negative, since sorting through search results outside of their preferred
shopping radius is a waste of time. This creates an opportunity for us to leverage our unique local vehicle inventory
to offer a better shopping experience for consumers, which in turn, creates advertising demand for TriCityWheels.

Competing against online national vertical sites will require several levers pulled locally. We don't believe that we can win on superior technology, even if
we had it. Our key advantages will be (1) Greater exposure to local audience through multichannel and platforms, (2) Superior service through local sales
and service reps, (3) A more complete package of local auto buying services, and (4) A more robust and complete inventory of local vehicles for sale. We aim to create an automotive MLS service through our relationship with Dealer Specialties and our ability to accept dealer inventory feeds from multiple
channels, including "rock lots" & independent dealers. Simply put, our market strategy is to reach more local car shoppers, more often, with more local
inventory than anyone else.

• A way to research – Trade-in values, vehicle ratings & reviews, auto industry news, and more.
• A way to connect with auto-related local businesses – Lenders, Insurers, Parts & Accessories retailers, Repair & Service
• Advertiser-Partners – We need dealerships and auto-related businesses to be a part of the site.
