Reunion - Spelman College
May 13 13-17 MAY - 17 Reunion 2015 2015 ® The Centennial Reunion 1915-2015 Welcome Spelman Sisters The Centennial Reunion 2015 The Class Reunion is the tradition that makes coming home to Spelman a very special occasion. It provides the best opportunity to fulfill the true blue “R’s.“ As we embark upon Reunion 2015, we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Spelman Reunions, which began in 1915. Keeping this as our foundation, the Reunion Committee, Alumnae Affairs, and Annual Giving teams have worked diligently to design activities to make Reunion 2015 one of your most memorable experiences. Special congratulations to our Golden Girls of the Class of 1965! We salute you on your 50th anniversary. We wait in anticipation to see you strut with grace and elegance as you are presented in the Blue Note Banquet Golden Girl Parade. A warm welcome to our Diamond Daughters! It is upon your shoulders that Spelman’s legacy of leadership was created. We appreciate you for committing over fifty years of dedication and support to our alma mater. To all my alumnae sisters, I applaud you for increasing your engagement with the College. I am counting on you to keep the momentum going with your overwhelming participation in reunion activities. Let’s take it over the top and set a new record in alumnae giving with your class gifts. And remember, “Every Woman...Every Year” by giving your special gift this year and giving an annual gift between your reunion years too! Again, thank you for keeping Spelman in a special place in your heart. Best wishes for a fabulous reunion! Sisterly, Sharon E. Owens, C ’76 Director of Alumnae Affairs Reminisce with your sisters...
