This workshop will benefit healthcare
workers providing services in private practice,
administration, school athletics, research
environments, hospitals, and short/long term
care facilities. Didactic and hands-on learning
environments will be utilized to enhance
knowledge in the use of technology as a tool to
help deliver best practices in patient care.
The clinical focus of the course will include
techniques in balance therapy.

About the Instructor
David Wilcox, OTR/L, LLC.
David Wilcox is an experienced Occupational Therapist who has worked in the field for 17
years. David started his OT career in 1998 at Moss Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia
treating an array of diagnoses, such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury,
cardiac, pulmonary and orthopedic conditions. Today David not only continues to treat
patients in the rehabilitative setting, but has expanded his role to student supervisor,
guest lecturer and adjunct professor with specific focus on neuroscience and cognition.
David has been associated with Biodex since 2010 and recently joined the company on
a full time basis. He spends his time training therapists on the use of Biodex products
including the Unweighing System, Gait Trainer, FreeStep and Balance System SD from a
logistical and clinical perspective. He also develops and teaches advanced training courses
on these same products.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If a course is cancelled by the sponsor,
attendees will be notified and the
course will be rescheduled as soon as
possible. If an attendee cancels two
weeks prior to the course, a refund
for the course will be issued. For
cancellations made less than two weeks
from course date, credit will be applied
toward the same course at a future date
in the same/different location within
one year. A cancellation fee will not
be charged.
