A Distinct Meeting Experience.
A Distinct Meeting Experience.
Founded in 1928 by automobile pioneer
Howard Coffin, Cabin Bluff was a
world-class gathering place for wealthy
southerners and northeasterners
who sought respite from life’s daily
pressures. Mr. Coffin realized Cabin
Bluff could be a perfect combination of
simple pleasures, with no loss of luxury
or comfort.
Virtually everywhere at Cabin Bluff, our history is present. You’ll see
a century of moments suspended in time through photographs of
legendary industrialists and former presidents, as well as decadesold books and artifacts. Perhaps the most startling sight is a
well-preserved 13-foot alligator mounted overhead in the lodge.
It was shot by former Cabin Bluff owner, Alfred Jones, Sr., on his
honeymoon in 1930.
To this day, Cabin Bluff retains a rough-hewn quality, yet has not
relinquished its standing as a destination built upon simple
elegance and attention to service and to enjoyment.

Accommodations & Facilities
Cabin Bluff represents one of the finest retreat facilities in North
America. Season by season only a handful of properties can match
the scope of its services. And by design, only a few guests will ever
enjoy them.
Only 40 guests may enjoy Cabin Bluff at a time, ensuring a most
private and uncrowded experience.
The Lodge and Cabins
The newly updated main lodge and eight guest cabins provide 20
private rooms with private baths. Comfortable cabins reflect a rustic
elegance well in character with Cabin Bluff’s fabled history and
natural surroundings. Each contains satellite television and WiFi.
Cuisine
A local approach. From home style breakfasts and midday meals to
marsh side oyster roasts, open-air cookouts and special functions,
the fare at Cabin Bluff is fresh and distinctly Southern. You will find
your plate filled with everything from hand-rubbed and seasoned
tenderloin, some of the most decadent fried chicken you’ll ever
experience or an expertly grilled assortment of local fish. All meals
are included in the guest rates.
Oyster Roast. One of the most anticipated activities at Cabin Bluff
is our world famous oyster roast. Hot, steamed oysters served fresh
from the pot are ready to be shucked and enjoyed.
Conference Center
It’s easy to see why so many companies choose to meet at Cabin
Bluff. Views overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and Cumberland
Island refresh the mind and inspire creative thinking; vaulted ceilings
and over 1700 square feet of meeting space ensure your ideas have
plenty of room to grow. Because Cabin Bluff hosts just one group at
a time, our unique breakout areas around the pool, on the dock, and
in the main lodge are available any time you need them.
At Cabin Bluff, you are fortunate to find yourself in the midst of an extraordinary
variety of natural resources that encourage the pursuit of new activities and
adventures. Boating, golf on a remarkable course crafted by Davis Love III, tennis,
bocce ball, a lap pool and sporting clays course are yours to enjoy.
Activities
golf: Designed by legendary PGA TOUR Professional and 2012
Ryder Cup Captain Davis Love III, our private 18-hole course
features six thoughtfully constructed greens, each designed to
be played three distinct ways. The course is fun and relaxing with
amazing views of golden marshland and the Intracoastal Waterway.

shooting: Novice or expert, our shooting games will inspire you
to perfect your marksmanship. A 10-station sporting clays course
is designed to mimic natural hunting conditions. With a majority of
the stations overlooking tidal creeks, the views are as exhilarating
as the thrill of breaking targets. A game called Five Stand tests
shooters’ reaction time and decision-making as to which target to
shoot first. For the seasoned shooter, it’s an activity not to be missed!
12–1pm Lunch at the pool deck
2–5pm
fishing: Our secluded location provides an abundance of
natural habitats, for great year-round fishing. Expert guides provide
all the necessary tackle and gear. Redfish, sea trout, bluefish,
tarpon and an endless supply of native species can be found
minutes from our dock. For those simply wanting to “stretch some
string” at their leisure, fishing gear is always available on the dock
for guests to use any time the mood strikes. hunting: Cabin Bluff has long been the playground of renowned
outdoorsmen, who revere it as a premier hunting destination. Over
1500 acres of quail fields combined with dogs uniquely trained in
the Steady to Wing and Shot method provide for an outstanding
wingshooting experience that will inspire beginners and awe more
experienced hunters.
A large deer population, plentiful wild turkey and even wild boar
are known to roam the piney woods around Cabin Bluff. And our
guides are always available to give you instruction whether you’re a
seasoned hunter or enjoying your first time taking gun in hand.
