About Sandy
Sandy has been photographing weddings since 2004, and considers it an honor to
be involved in each and every wedding. However, 2004 did not mark the beginning of
her passion for photography... that has been nearly a lifetime in the making. She
purchased her first 35mm camera in 1980, and it all started there! She has never
stopped educating herself on ways to improve and enhance her images, new
techniques in lighting and composition, and artistic interpretations in post-production.
Sandy is a current member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), a
senior in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Toledo, and looks
forward to attending yearly seminars to improve her skills and discover the latest
wedding photography trends. Many of the seminars she has attended have been led by
some of the top wedding photographers in the world (such as Jerry Ghionis, Yervant,
Joe Buissink, Bambi Cantrell, Sal Cincotta, and Chuck Arlund).
Sandy blends photojournalism, romance, high-fashion, and fun into her
photographic style. She is also known for her mild manner and production planning
that almost always guarantees a stress-free shoot day. She will capture the genuine
emotions and unique beauty of your wedding day with energy, flair and artistic style.

SANDY IN A NUTSHELL:
She likes... coffee, peanut butter, action/thriller movies (like the ones with
Shwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, etc.), researching genealogy, reading with
a highlighter, writing corny stories, shoes (last count, 14 pairs of just black shoes), tent
camping, skiing, scuba diving, drag racing (at the drag strip of course), roller blading and
biking, Mexican food, the Bible, her Mac computer (she says, “once you go Mac, you'll
never go back”), Panera's, firepits and roasting hotdogs on a stick, Diet Pepsi,
Bluegrass music, Facebook, Christmas Eve, all the seasons (just wishes winter lasted
only a month or so), down comforters, the Millennium Force roller coaster... and oh yes,
PHOTOGRAPHY!

Helpful Hints
When you commission Sandy Haas Photography to document perhaps the most important
day in your life, we feel a tremendous responsibility to tell your story with images that are everything
you hoped for and even more. Our desire is to provide you with stylish images that have impact and
emotion, which many times may be captured through a photojournalistic approach. However, when
scheduling the itinerary of your wedding day, remember that the photographs are forever. Although
we enthusiastically endorse a photojournalistic approach to wedding coverage, where we look for
moments instead of creating them, we also encourage a photography session devoted to romantic
and fun portraits of the bride & groom and wedding party. This session can be at any location, and
typically these images become the favorites of the day – making lovely wall art or additions to an
album. The key to this session is a relaxed atmosphere, your trust (as we try creative techniques),
and most of all to have FUN. We can create extraordinary images that you will cherish, if given the
time. Typically 1 - 2 hours at a designated location (after the ceremony “formals” have been
photographed) should be sufficient. If you choose to schedule a romantic / fun photography session,
most guests will be understanding of the gap in time between your ceremony and reception. We
would be happy to work with you on preparing a Photography Timeline that would make the creation
of these additional images possible.
We realize that family portraits are very important as well, but can be very time consuming if
not planned properly. To expedite the time required to photograph post-ceremony “formals” with
your family members, we encourage all those who will be involved to be ready and waiting for their
photos after guests have begun leaving the ceremony location. The “formals” can most often be
completed in 15-30 minutes if there are no delays (depending on the number of family groups to be
included). It is also very helpful to delegate a bridal party member who will be attentive to arranging
the bridal gown for photographs during this time, and another bridal party member to gather the
family members who are to be included. Another circumstance to be mindful of is the confusion
sometimes caused by additional shooting taking place behind or over-the-shoulder of the
professional photographer during the family formals. While we certainly do not wish to restrict family
members and guests from taking their own photographs during this joyous occasion, be aware that
it is distracting to the people being photographed. They get confused and don't know where to look,
which sometimes becomes evident when all eyes are not on the professional photographer in the
finished photo.
We photograph with energy, and strive to document the day in a pleasant and care-free
manner, giving you all that you expect. We would also love the opportunity to provide you with
additional images that will add a unique, artistic touch to the story of your wedding day. We are
always looking for locations out of the ordinary for photographic sessions, if time permits. At any
time we are open to your suggestions/ideas, and are always mindful of any special requests that fit
our photographic style.

1. This constitutes an order for wedding photography on the above date. Fee includes the following:

2. All forms of image data received from the PHOTOGRAPHER are to be backed up by the CLIENT, and should be backed up on new media at least every 2 years due to potential changes in
technology of data storage and to ensure data integrity.
3. A majority of journalistic/candid photographs plus, as time permits, formal/casual portraits and limited group shots. If requested to do so, we do NOT guarantee any reproductions or copies of
others’ work from Pinterest or other online websites.
4. It is understood that any and all sample prints and image files remain the property of the photographer, Sandra Haas, and they may be used for advertising, display or any purpose thought
proper by Sandra Haas.
5. While every reasonable effort will be made to produce and deliver outstanding photographs of the event, Sandra Haas’ entire liability to the Client for loss, damage or failure to deliver
pictures for any reason is limited to a refund to Client of the amount paid for services. Sandra Haas’ entire liability to the Client or any person for claim, or injury arising from Sandra Haas’
performance is limited to a refund to Client of the amount paid for services.
6. While every reasonable effort will be made to obtain high-quality photographs, Sandra Haas cannot be held liable for any situation beyond her control that may affect the quality and/or
quantity of photographs delivered: these may include inclement weather, guest related obstructions/interference, and Acts of God.
7. Upon signature, photographer Sandra Haas reserves the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that time and date.
8. $500.00 is due at signing of this contract, and the remaining balance due by one week prior to the wedding day. If it is agreed upon by PHOTOGRAPHER and CLIENT that payment will be
delayed for unforeseen reasons, there will be no delivery of photographs until the full final payment has been made. In the event of a cancellation within six months of the wedding date, the
reservation fee will only be refunded if the PHOTOGRAPHER is able to reschedule another wedding for that day.
All terms of this agreement are understood and agreed upon.

sides of the frame for a beautiful print, ready to hang on your wall. No additional custom framing is
needed.
Your print is made with the highest quality, archival inks that will never fade or discolor. Each
print is sprayed with a UV coating for added protection and a gloss-type finish.
In addition to our standard sizes, we can produce any size you desire. Please ask us about
