The outer frame will normally be 1-1/2" to 2" to properly overlap the fireplace. A 1-1/2" outer frame on a perfectly
formed fireplace will overlap the opening approximately 3/4". If an outer frame wider than 2" is required, a quotation
will be necessary.
If opening is over 44" wide, any Premier made will have 2 doors and 2 stationary glass panels (illustrations 2 and 4).
Openings 44" or less will be made with 2 doors (illustrations 1 and 3).
A full arch or arch opening with straight sides less than 1/2 of the center opening height will have a Premier made
with 2 doors and 2 stationary glass panels (illustration 2).
An arched opening with straight side heights at least 1/2 of the overall height of the arched opening will generally
have a Premier made with 2 doors and no stationary glass panels (illustration 1). There will be exceptions to this
because of the extreme width and heights of some fireplace openings (illustration 2).

1. Frame size is cut and priced by the inside measurement. Example: to frame 15" x 20" art; order a 15" x 20" frame.
2. The 15" x 20" frame would = 70 total inches (15 + 15 + 20 + 20). Multiply the 70" x the price of moulding selected
above to get the total List Price.
3. Remember to take into account the matting when sizing the frame. The frame material is approximately 4" wide,
therefore, the outer frame will be approximately 8" wider and higher than the object being framed.
4. The frame is shipped unassembled. For factory assembly, add $30.00 to price. Glass is not included.
