introduction to eSurvey
introduction to eSurvey eSurvey is an integrated online survey module to allow you to create as many questions as you want to ask attendees what you want pre-event, as an audience response system or post-event. eSurvey is a great alternative to other survey point solutions because it is integrated with eReg to allow you to stop cutting and pasting lists of attendees together and importing into other survey tools. As soon as you've created an event and have a registrant list, you can easily send surveys without having to continuously update your survey participant list. The module allows you to also view reports and generate charts from the data for easy reporting. Product Features • Integrated with your event so it's easy to pull survey participant lists from registrant lists • Design your own look-and-feel or point-and-click your way to a great looking survey • Create as many questions and pages as you need • Easy-to-use reports • Send data to pie, bar and line graph charts to use in PowerPoint presentations, Excel and more to make it easy to show stakeholders the survey feedback eSurvey walkthrough survey settings To get started creating your eSurvey, hover over the eSurvey option in the etouches menu. A drop down will appear, select Create survey and in the popup fill in as much information as you would like. You will be able to change any information later on. survey settings • basic settings Within Basic Settings you can edit the setup of your survey, add question numbering, add a thank you page, and create a public summary. The Basic details section lets you change the name of the survey, create a custom URL and set the status of the survey. The Survey events section lets you link this survey to an event. When linked the attendees data that you have added in your custom view will be pulled in from your eReg event to eSurvey Enabling Quiz Scoring lets you add a point value to your survey. This feature may be helpful if your event was actually an online video training and you want to test your attendees afterwards. If you use question numbering then your survey questions will automatically be numbered when you view the survey. You can choose to number each page separately or number the questions over the entire survey. You can also choose the text in your navigation buttons In this section you can configure what people should see when they complete the survey as well as redirect them to a specific site or report. survey settings • advanced settings The Advanced Settings tab gives you a little more control over how the survey will function and how it will affect other parts of etouches. Checking off the first box allows you to automatically change a registrant’s status in eReg when they complete a survey. You can also make sure that attendees complete the survey only once. If you have added URL masking to your account, you can select the domain you want to use for your survey. edit survey The Edit Survey tag is where you will be building your survey. You can add pages, headings and questions. When adding a page simply name you page and choose where it should be placed withing the survey. When editing a page you will be given the same field selections to edit as you did when you add a new page. (Shown Above). Selecting Delete page will delete the current page you are on. The system will prompt you to verify if you would like to delete this page. There is no way to recover the page once it has been deleted. When selecting to reorder tabs a popup will allow you to drag and drop the pages in the updated order you would like them to appear in the top navigation. Adding a question: The Add question popup lets you select the page of the survey that this new question should appear on.
