In 1924, two remarkable women, founders Fanneal Harrison and Catherine
Gavin opened the doors at The Out-of-Door School. Today, The Out-of-Door
Academy is the second oldest independent college preparatory school
in Florida. We serve more than 700 students, pre-kindergarten through
twelfth grade on our two campuses. With a history spanning over 90 years,
The Out-of-Door Academy remains dedicated to its longstanding
commitment to the pursuit of knowledge and the development of
self-confident, responsible young people.
We cordially invite you to support the Banyan Bash on Saturday, March 12,
2016 at the Uihlein Campus in Lakewood Ranch. Proceeds from this event
will benefit the students, faculty, and programs that define the Out-of-Door
experience.
