FLAG FOOTBALL
YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30PM, 1st - 4th Grade
Make athletic participation a rewarding experience. Everyone
plays and everyone is a winner. Each participant will learn and
develop football skills as well as leadership, sportsmanship,
team play and respect for teammates, opponents, coaches
and officials.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: AUGUST 31st
KINDER FLAG FOOTBALL
September 16 to October 14
Wednesdays 4:30 to 5:30PM, Ages 4-6
Give your child a chance to learn the fundamentals and skills of
football. This program will focus on the basics of the sport:
throwing, catching, running, flag pulling, etc, as well as the
concepts of offense and defense. Learning football has never
been so much fun!

TIGERSHARKS SWIM TEAM
Swim Clinic: September 9-25
LEARN TO SWIM FREE!
September 8-11, Ages 6-8
Get prepared for winter swim team now by participating in this
clinic. The winter clinic will focus on stroke technique as well as
starts and turns, through drills that teach greater efficiency.
Maximum participants in each session is 15.
Swim Team Training: October through March
Practices are offered Monday through Friday and swim meets
are held on Saturdays (occasionally Sundays). Swimmers are
expected to compete in all League swim meets and those meets
in which the swimmer has qualified for. All Swimmers MUST be
a member of the Hollidaysburg Area YMCA.
Drowning is the second leading cause of death for kids from ages
one to 14. And, for each kid who drowns, four are hospitalized
for near drowning. Learn how you can keep your kids safe in the
water at the Y’s FREE Learn to Swim class for members and the
community. This class is a fun and inviting way for kids to learn
the basics of water safety and swim lessons. Registration for
this class is required. Please see the front desk for more details.
Ages 6-7: 5:00 to 5:30PM
Ages 7-8: 5:30 to 6:00PM
BIDDY 2.0!
Tuesdays 4:30-5:30PM, Ages 4-8
Biddy 2.0 introduces children to a variety of both individual and team sports along with the concept that sports are games and meant to
be played for fun. Biddy 2.0 focuses on team building with an emphasis on sportsmanship, communication, and working together to learn
a sport. Be a Biddy Athlete and sign-up for the entire year and save!
