Emphasis will be placed on herbs from Africa, but western herbs from the USA and South America along with eastern herbs from India and China will also be discussed. Additionally, the course will allow the student to learn safe and practical uses of herbs to prevent disease and to treat common everyday issues without resorting to over-the-counter drugs. Lastly, it will shed light on herbs that have the ability to create emotional and spiritual balance.
